Robots Are Saltwater-Compatible
Modern robotic pool cleaners are built to handle the salt levels in a chlorinated saltwater pool (typically around 3,000 ppm). The materials and seals are rated for it, so a saltwater pool will not harm the robot during normal cycles. Don't Leave It in Long-Term
While salt at pool concentrations is fine for cleaning cycles, leaving any robot submerged around the clock accelerates corrosion of metal parts, hardware, and seals over months and years. As with any pool, the best practice is to remove the robot after each cycle and rinse it occasionally with fresh water to clear salt residue.
