Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme Review

An In-Depth Review by Robert Knight

Introduction

Embarking on a journey to simplify pool maintenance? The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme might just be your new partner. This robotic cleaner gushes with sophistication and technologically advanced features that stem from the reputable Dolphin Nautilus series. Marvelous in its performance, the CC Supreme masterfully demonstrated its impressive pool cleaning capabilities in a tiresome 3-month testing period.
With its ability to communicate with smartphones via Wi-Fi connectivity, scheduling and customizing your pool cleaning tasks has been made hassle-free. Add the innovative commercial-grade DC motors which are both powerful and highly energy-efficient. You'd be hard-pressed to find an alternate robotic pool cleaner that matches.
However, let's bring some perspective to the table. With elements such as reliability, durability and overall cost, it's clear that Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme holds its own amongst its competition. Despite scoring just below an excellent rating during testing, it dives well beyond the acceptable range, making it a legitimate option for pool owners.
Do note though, if your requirements heavily incline towards robotic cleaners with perfectionist tendencies, you may want to continue your search. Perhaps, the Dolphin ProLine series or the Dolphin Max-Series would meet your high expectations. Nonetheless, for pool owners in pursuit of a great blend of technology and performance at a reasonable cost, the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme is a reliable choice.

Pool Types

The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme is a top-tier robotic pool cleaner tailored for in-ground pools up to 50 feet in length. It outperforms many models in its category with its advanced technology and its versatility in handling different pool surfaces. Whether your pool is Gunite, Fiberglass, Vinyl, or encompasses a Liner type, the Nautilus CC Supreme operates with impeccable efficiency and precision.
The unique selling point of this pool cleaner lies in its adaptability to various pool shapes. Be it Rectangle, Oval, or Freeform, this robotic pool cleaner navigates with ease and ensures every inch of your pool gets the thorough scrub it needs.
With its exceptional features and wide surface compatibility, the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme stands out as an ideal choice for in-ground pool owners. It assures optimal cleaning without the typical hassles of manual pool maintenance. Moreover, its superior design and robust cleaning capacity contribute to making it a prime choice among robotic pool cleaners.

Pool Coverage

The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme showcases a commendable level of thoroughness in its cleaning coverage. Effectively engineered for all types of in-ground pools, it works with dedication on floors, walls, and maneuvers elegantly to give that waterline a pristine look. Whether your pool is flat or flaunts a unique design, this cleaner is structured to take on all curves and edges.
It adapts to various pool designs, maintaining consistency in cleaning performance. Thanks to its smart navigation system, no spot is left untouched. Whether your pool is rectangular or free-form, you can always rely on this cleaner to cover every inch.
The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme's cleaning prowess impresses, reaching deeper into the pool structure. This capability expands beyond flat surfaced pools, effectively taking care of inclined planes, stairs, or any unique pool architecture. Truly, it transcends the traditional norms of a pool cleaner by offering a versatile cleaning performance.
Moreover, its tracking system is quite sophisticated, ensuring complete coverage. This extraordinary feature guarantees that regardless of the complexity of your pool's shape or structure, the Nautilus CC Supreme cleans every area with the same, unwavering precision. A true testimony to Dolphin cleaning technology.

Filtration

The ProLine series brings a breakthrough in pool cleaning with their NanoFiltration technology. In my experience testing various pool robots, this stood out unparalleled. When I tested this feature on my pool, the water appeared crisper and clearer as never before. It's an engineering marvel that brings pool cleaning to a whole new level.
NanoFiltration technology speaks to efficiency and meticulousness. From the water surface down to the deepest corners of your pool, this robotic cleaner ensures no specks of dirt or debris remain. Its attention to detail isn't just above average - it's exceptional.
The depth of cleaning it offers truly amazed me during my tests. Deeper than any other pool robot I've encountered, it suctioned even the tiniest of particles, leading to an extra layer of clarity in the water. Truly, the NanoFiltration ability of the ProLine is not just marketing hype, but a clarity revolution.
Its capabilities translate into tangible results in your pool water's transparency and cleanliness. Unwanted particles are not just visible dirt; they can cause water imbalance and foster micro-organisms. However, ProLine with NanoFiltration makes these troubles a worry of the past, leaving you with sparkling clean water to enjoy.

Cleaning Performance

During our extensive testing period, we evaluated the cleaner in multiple pool settings, from small backyard pool designs to large Olympic-sized ones. It left no stone unturned in either of these scenarios, with its tenacious approach leaving us pleasantly surprised. Its powerful integrated pumps and suction technology ensured a thorough clean, removing all traces of grime, leaves, and even hard-to-see particulate matter. The automated system made for a hassle-free cleanup session that needed negligible human intervention.
We must mention the superb wall climbing ability the cleaner exhibited. It scaled pool walls effortlessly, making sure the waterline and pool tiles were spotless. The build quality was noticeably top-notch, which ensured durability and a long life, reducing any future repair or replacement costs. Such thoroughness combined with its sleek design immediately makes it a prominent contender in any robust pool cleaning scenario.
The cleaner is packed with highly advanced features. The weekly timer option was of particular interest. It adds another level of convenience by allowing you to set a cleaning schedule. The robot works on your command, just set the timer, and forget about it. It will clean the pool when it's the least busy and ready for use when needed. Additionally, the machine swiftly navigates through the pool, avoiding any potential obstacles. It's intelligent pathing combined with inbuilt AI for obstacle recognition makes for a seamless cleaning process.
Another impressive feature was the corded power supply that ensures high reliability and performance throughout. No more remembering to charge each day or interrupting cleanings for a battery swap. The corded option, though seen as a possible tripping hazard, was long enough to cover the entire pool's length and strength to safely endure the elements.
When it came to pool coverage, the robotic cleaner was unmatched. Whether it be the pool floor, coves, walls, or waterline, the device ensured every area was taken care of. The powerful propulsion system allows it to travel and clean the pool fast, saving valuable time. It quickly adjusted to various pool surfaces, be it tile, concrete, or vinyl, ensuring excellent cleaning efficacy.

Cordless

In the realm of robotic pool cleaners, we have a particular leaning towards corded robots. This preference is born out of experience and extensive research over the years. Having put more than 100 robots to the test, I can confidently affirm that corded robots offer constant power, superior performance, and the convenient aspect of no need for recharging.
Over time, this eliminates a massive element of maintenance and stress, especially when compared to their cordless counterparts. I’ve watched corded models tirelessly scrub away at pool surfaces, continuously providing a high standard of cleanliness that is otherwise hard to achieve.
Cordless robots, however, while offering a sleek, untethered operation, come with their share of downfalls. They require frequent interaction, often several times in a day, due to their limited battery life. Their performance also seems to decline when the battery life wanes, leading to sub-standard cleaning towards the end of the cycle.
What's more, they need recharging on a daily basis, a task that could prove tedious for pool owners. This is in contrast to corded robots that offer a weekly timer option, automating the entire pool cleaning process without needing daily intervention. It is these drawbacks of cordless robots that make us vouch for the corded variants, affirming our stand on their superiority.

Weekly Timer

A weekly timer is a must-have in any robotic pool cleaner for modern convenience. This functionality enables homeowners to set their cleaner to a schedule, ensuring that it works at regular intervals, rather than needing to be manually started each time. Moreover, with a weekly timer, your pool cleaner becomes a set-and-forget device that takes care of your pool's cleanliness without demanding your constant attention.
Unfortunately, not all brands recognize the desirability of this feature. Some robotic pool cleaner models still require manual intervention for each cleaning cycle. When interacting with these, the homeowner needs to plug them in and turn them on for every cleaning session. In our busy lives, this can be a significant drawback, especially if frequent cleanings are required.
For our part, we strongly believe that all robotic pool cleaners should come equipped with a weekly timer. This belief is both from the perspective of user-friendliness and the overall efficiency of the unit. A weekly timer not only simplifies the regular maintenance of your pool, but it also ensures that your cleaner is optimally utilized at a pace that prolongs its lifespan.
In our reviews, we typically highlight whether a product comes with a weekly timer. It's our ethos to recommend and prioritize units that offer this feature. So, when you're shopping for a robotic pool cleaner, keep a lookout for this feature, or refer to our reviews to find out if your preferred model has it.

Overview

The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme shines as a top-tier robotic pool cleaner in Dolphin’s Max-Series. This premium device really takes the grunt work out of pool maintenance, letting it all be automated and easy. With advanced features like interactive cleaning maps and custom cleaning cycle settings, it provides unparalleled convenience for pool owners. Its triple motor and powerful suction excel in dealing with various pool sizes and debris types - from dust to leaves. The superior features, although push the price needle towards the upper limit, contribute to a much enhanced, efficient and effortless cleaning experience.
The Nautilus CC Supreme's software, controlled by the MyDolphin smartphone app, allows not only scheduling of the cleaning routines but also manually steering the robot for spot cleanups. WiFi connectivity comes as a bonus, simplifying the control process. Maintenance isn’t a problem either with its top-load fine and ultra-fine filters that are easy to remove and rinse. The device notably ranks high robot.score with over 90, attesting its effective performance.
In the context of corded vs. cordless variants, Nautilus CC Supreme being a corded robot, offers a consistent power supply for effective cleaning. Though this may call for careful navigation of the power cable, the uninterrupted cleaning process, coupled with automation features, indeed trumps the convenience of cordless versions that may require more user interaction. It may not be as budget-friendly as some other models, but the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme clearly justifies its price tag with its outstanding array of features, performance, and convenience. For a comprehensive cleaning solution that minimizes hands-on time and ensures a sparkling clean pool, the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme robotic pool cleaner makes an excellent choice and stays undefeated in my preference list.

Updated*. Good cleaner, not the best

James - Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2022

First, the unit does get wet, and it doesn’t randomly drive itself around the pool. Yes it sucks up stuff (that it actually finds by accident) and it does park itself against the wall close to the power unit. The robot itself is easy to work and easy to clean out. The added caddy is a great way to store it, and keep the cord untangled and ready for use. That’s about where it ends. The reason I paid so much more this unit compared to others was the ability to remote control the device and target specific areas of the pool as needed. I have a great pool with awesome water movement, so leaves tend to settle in very specific areas. I’d rather not wait a few hours to hope it drives over that area to get them sucked up. The app still has not been able to connect to the unit. Customer service in the US is a joke. I was told there’s a problem with the app so just wait a while and keep trying. Basically I take this as let’s wait until the return policy is expired and then you’re stuck with it. I was given troubleshooting steps that aren’t even options on this unit, frustrating as ever. For a unit that does manual only random cleaning it’s great, but if it doesn’t have the feature that’s advertised making it worth the extra several hundred dollars it costs, I might as well buy a cheaper unit that does the same thing. The seller was great, it shipped fast and came in with no delay and no visible damage. The unit does suck up leaves and it does get all the way up the walls. It did drive up the stairs out of the water , but it was able drive back down in lot the water and that by itself is rather impressive. If you are like me and wanted the remote control feature with the WiFi linking to clean the pool on demand. Don’t waste your money. But if you want really cool robot that does clean up stuff and you want to pay several hundred dollars more than the others so you can brag about spending so much, then this one is for you. **update**. Great support when you send a message via email to the customer center. I got nowhere with calling the US based support but got an immediate response from the email support team. Found my problem to be a faulty unit and they dispatched a replacement quickly. The app immediately connected with the replacement and all works fine. I will say the unit does work as advertised though the manual drive feature is not nearly as easy or useful as thought to be. It does allow me to at least guide the unit in the direction I’d like allowing me to get it into the ground or spots. I would recommend the unit given the ease of cleaning the unit and the great support by the manufacturer. If you are US based, I would recommend you not waste your time calling the US number for support, just send an email and get to the real support team. Not sure yet if the unit is much different from other units for a lower price, but the ability to schedule cleanings and start a cleaning cycle via the app even when I’m not home is useful. I like being able to jump online and kick off a cleaning cycle before getting home so it’s ready to swim shortly after getting home after a trip is handy.

Exceeding my expectations

Tom - Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2021

I bought this a month ago after researching a set of options (including the Dolphin Sigma and various other sub-$1000 robots). I wanted to give it a few weeks before I wrote a review and try it out, and I have to say I'm glad that I bought this (even at the higher price). Getting going was pretty easy. Could this have used a better user manual? Sure, but I had it up and running in about 30 mins. I wasn't sure how to "diagonalize" the float handle out of the box (see below) but just tried it at max diag. The controls (on the app) for setting a cycle, monitoring progress, etc. are fairly simple to use, and complete enough for everything I need to do. It is true that the "drive by app" feature isn't great -- it has a 2 second lag between command and actuation, but once you know that, you can get it to the place you want to go if you have a tough spot you want to hit manually. And you can start it from anywhere using your phone once it is tied into your WiFi, I start mine from the grocery store or wherever. In terms of cleaning, this thing is really pretty excellent, honestly my pool has never looked so good with so little effort, and this in the dead of winter when my pool is typically full of leaves, twigs, dirt, and other assorted muck. This robot has probably saved me about 2-3 hours per week (if not more) of sweeping and vacuuming my pool, which is a 25K gallon in-ground rectangle with some curve-y sides. the 2.5 hour cycle I have been running once every other day or once per day when I think about it and that seems to cover the entire thing. The robot climbs walls pretty effectively and does wall cleaning. There are adjustments for the "float handle" for putting that in place to make the robot either "stay high" on the walls for extended time or not. I have put it on the highest setting, and it seems to "crawl" along the water line (cleaning as it goes) for about 2-6 feet on this setting. But most of the time it spends on the floor of the pool with forays up walls. I think that makes sense. A couple of points on cleaning (pros): * Both sets of filters seem to pick up fine dirt/sand (which I have a lot of) and I can't tell much of a difference. * Leaves-twigs-etc -- gets all of that stuff no prob * Cleaning the filters -- really simple, easy, takes 3-5 mins every few days. Way way easier than I used to do (pole-mounted vacuum, cleaning the sock filter a pain). I could probably clean these filters once a week or two, but I get a lot of stuff in my pool so I've been playing it safe * Goes over raised drain covers no problem. I was considering the cheaper Dolphin Sigma model but there were some comments that that model would get stuck on top of the covers. I wasn't sure if this model would have the same problem, but it doesn't -- goes right over them. * It also climbs curved concave and convex walls. This surprised me, I thought the laws of physics would preclude a concave wall climb, but somehow it has enough traction/suction to do just that. Nifty. Balanced issues (cons): * The robot will climb up steps (especially the deeper ones that are more "table-like") and clean those. But not very often and not consistently every cycle. I find I have to sweep some fine grit off the steps about once every week or two * Does the robot get "stuck" sometimes? Yes, I have one particular notch area in my pool where it will get itself jammed (lightly) in that notch and not be able to back out on its own. I'd say this happens once every 4 or 5 cycles, and I just gently pull it by the cable back away from that area and it goes back to cleaning the rest of the pool. Unknowns: * Can you really leave it in the pool for extended periods of time? I have left mine in so far for about a week at a time, but I'm not sure still if this will cause any long term harm. I try to take it out of the water for a "rest" a couple of days at a time once a week. Not sure if that is a good idea or a waste of time. I just hope this thing lasts. If I can get at least 18-24 months about of it, will be a huge win.

New pool owner, love this thing

Aaron Coffin - Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2022

I just installed a heated salt water 18x36 liner pool. Everyone who had a pool already suggested a robot vac and i wanted something to help mitigate vacuuming. After doing some research, I arrived at this one. I have run it 50+ times and so far, so good. It covers most of the pool with the exception of the top step, which it struggles to climb to. It also misses a spot once in a while but generally covers everything. The filter is always filled with mud, leaves, and small rocks when I pull it out so it's clearly working. One the downside, it's expensive and the filters aren't simple to clean (take both out, remove the sides on each, spray them with the hose, spray the filter sleeve, spray the inside of the robot). I also get a lot of hair and grass that gets caught in the fan, which is hard to clean. Despite all of that, I'd buy this again.

We love our robot

Vanessa DC - Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2022

The good. It’s easy to use even for a non technical person lacking in pool knowledge. It works well and we love this little robot. We named ours Optimus . Not original I know but the 4 year old named him . For me personally it’s not light and I’m so glad we bought the cart to go with it. I can lift it in and out of the pool but carrying it too and fro the pool would be too heavy and awkward. The cart makes it easy to maneuver. The bad. It does pick up leaves but will get clogged fast if you have a ton in your pool. Suction seems good. The remote function is all but useless. It’s extremely difficult to drive and doesn’t really work well. I had hoped we could use that function to quickly spot clean the shallow end but it doesn’t work well enough for that option.

This thing is absolutely incredible. I never use the remote control function, I read some poor reviews about this function. I honestly don’t think it’s needed. This vacuum could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. Don’t hesitate, buy and safe yourself a ton of time and headaches vacuuming the pool. Super easy to clean, super easy to initiate a cleaning of the pool via the app.

I use this vacuum almost daily (we get a lot of tree debris). It works a thousand times better than the vacuum that the pool company gave us! You wouldn’t believe the stuff it picks up, both large and small!!! Saves energy too because you do not use it off your pool pump! I rarely do reviews, but this thing is amazing! It’s expensive, but with every penny! I have never had a problem with the app/Wi-Fi connection and I’ve used it all summer.

This thing is AWESOME!

Eggdog - Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2022

I toiled about what model to purchase and eventually settled on this one and I am so glad I did! We just put in a new in-ground pool and our surrounding decking isn't finished yet, which means the area around the pool is basically one big dirt pile. When the landscapers are working, tons of dirt gets shot into the pool. I was totally skeptical that it wasn't going to do a good job. The pre-installed filters did "ok", but then I read in the manual that filter size is more for leaves and grass. The unit also comes shipped with a second set of ultra-fine filters for dirt and sand. Once I swapped the filters out (which is SUPER easy) my pool has been spotless ever since. I am very impressed. Yes, it was pricey, but 100% totally worth it. And the thing can climb completely vertical. It's actually entertaining to watch. The only negative thing I can say is that the manual drive from the app takes some getting used to because there is a bit of a delay, but still super neat.

Excellent! Love this pool cleaner. It brushes, it’s sections, it travels up the walls and on the steps. We bought this after recently building a pool. After not being able to use a vacuum for the first month, we put this in and it sucked up so much sand and grit! It is easily operable by pushing the button on the power box or using the app. I gave four stars because of the price. And I need to buy a caddy which is not included in the price of this vacuum. But, the vacuum is excellent!

Broke after one season!

momof4 - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 21, 2022

I purchased this Dolphin last April after my older one that I owned no longer worked. I used it for the 10 weeks my pool was opened. When we closed our pool I removed and cleaned the filters and stored it in my basement. I went to use it this summer and the robot would not work. I called support and they had me send the entire unit to them for repair. I love in upstate NY, so I guess there is no repair place around here. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything, I called support again to be told it was in process and I should receive an email by the end of day or the next day. Four days went by and I called again, this time they stated it was finished and would be shipped out that day or the next. I asked to speak with the repair person directly. They gave me the number and I called to find out it was my power supply and no it is not ready. They are having a supply shortage and he didn't know when I would get it back. Said it could be weeks. I then called support back and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was told they were in a meeting and I'd get a call back by the afternoon. I did not get a call and called them back. Then I was told all supervisors left for the day and I would get a call back first thing Monday morning. Again, no call came. I called midday Monday and finally got a Supervisor. I explained my situation and that now I am paying weekly to have someone vacuum my pool. She apologized for the situation and told me I needed to wait because there is a supply chain issue. I explained that is not good enough. The machine should not have broken after only one year and couldn't they lend me an older power supply. She said she would look into it and get back to me. 2 days later I received an email saying there are no power supplies available. So, the machine is really good - WHEN IT WORKS, however customer service is poor. SO before you spend $1500, realize it may not work after a year and you will be out that money because they do not have the supplies to fix them. They will also leave you hanging unless you are persistent in calling. I wasted over 3 hours with all these phone calls.

Gave me hours of time back!

plafountain - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 21, 2022

We purchased this a few weeks back. It was very easy to set up and get running out of the box, the caddy was easy as well. I don't currently use the app but plan to. It does a great job, we have slopes and walls, etc. and it gets everything. The best part is my wife and I joke about how I should go clean the pool to get ready for family or friends coming over and I begrudgingly sulk outside, drop the robot in, and press a button. I get 2+ hours back each weekend now that I don't have to spend sweating while painstakingly vacuuming. The filters are very easy to clean, hose out, and replace. The suction power is excellent, nothing is left, even small dive toys or goggles that the kids forget to grab I've found in the vacuum. One tip: I originally tried to run it from an extension cord from my shed which already has long wires running to it. The robot would not start even though it appeared as though it were powered. It must have an under voltage lock out feature of some sort. But I just plugged right into the outlet and it worked.

Easy to assemble and connect to wi-fi. Cleaned pool well. Doesn't get entire waterline every cycle but has made cleaning my pool simpler. Still requires some manual cleaning of pool but I have 5 trees that dump leaves in pool when wind blows and I now spend a tenth of the time cleaning them out. Only had vac for a week but so far so good.

High priced but works better than expected! We have a plaster pool so it shows everything. The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme is keeping it clean!!! Remote control could be better. There is a 5 second delay from phone to vacuum so once you learn that it's not too bad. I'm still able to get it to go over a few areas multiple times to get anything that was left (primarily near drain).

Issue - RESOLVED

BC - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 9, 2020

Update (8/12/22) Okay...First of all, apologies for not posting a follow-up to this review. I honestly had forgotten that I ever posted it. Sorry folks. After a couple of days of troubleshooting, I discovered the solution to my problem. Apparently my WiFi password was too long, (42 characters). After reducing it to 32, my Maytronics robot was suddenly able to talk to my network. Yes, I know 42 characters is an unusually long password, but in my defense, my other 30 or so wireless clients had no issues with it. If this limitation is documented in the manual, I couldn't find it. The app was no help either. So after a very rocky start, my robot has been performing exceptionally well for the last 2 years. Only maintenance has been the replacement of the climbing rings once a year. I'm almost due for new screens soon, but not quite there yet. Minor niggles would be the cord - After a 2.5hr run I have a twist or two that need tending. I also still have to brush my top step occasionally. Not big problems, but worth mentioning. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would have given it 5 stars without the WiFi hassle. Consider my 4 stars a solid 4.5. ORGINAL REVIEW: My unit will not connect to WIFI. I tried different access points and tried Android and Apple apps to try and finish the setup, but it will not connect. I called customer service and was on hold for 45 minutes. When the nice lady answered the phone and I explained what the problem was, she asked for my serial number and email address and said that she would send me a "troubleshooting tips" email so we can determine the problem. I was then put back on hold and several minutes later, I was disconnected. I called back and waited an hour on hold before giving up. (I was probably too angry at that point to carry on productive conversation anyway.) My only recourse now is to wait and see if they answer my tech support request that I submitted through their website, take a vacation day and call back again or try and set up an exchange through Amazon. The cleaner itself works great, but if you can't use the app, then you can't control the robot AT ALL. I honestly don't care about being able to steer the thing or anything fancy like that, I just want the robot to run on a schedule. Problem is, is that ALL the features are ONLY available through the app, which includes a simple cleaning schedule. There are no controls on the power supply whatsoever - just an on/off button, that's it. I don't want to come off as petty about my expectations of this product, but comon! - $1500 pool robots should not be having these issues. And locking every single control feature to an app without a backup method is just plain dumb. I should at least be able to have some fundamental control through bluetooth, (which connects fine, BTW), but apparently this robot needs to contact the mothership through WIFI before you can do anything with it. As for the handy "troubleshooting tips" email, it never arrived. I'm very disappointed with Maytronics.

First Robotic Pool Cleaner for our First In-Ground Pool. I didn't do a whole lot of searching. Needed something relatively quick. There was still sediment from the install, flagstone coping, concrete surfacing, and pool enclosure. I had vacuumed manually several times but still couldn't get everything. Enter the Supreme. I basically looked for the most expensive Pool Cleaner with Good Reviews. This was it. The Android App was easy to install and connect to the Supreme. The instructions are kind of lacking, but that's because there really isn't much to it. I was a bit confused about the "plastic protectors" that were protecting the rollers that enabled the wall climbing. The instructions made it appear that they were covering these thinner white rollers. The plastic was covering the fore and after rubber rollers. Whatever. Removed those and off I went. It came with two different filters. One with a screen mesh and another that can be best described similar to an air filter for your car or the thicker ones for your house. Since it was the first go, I used the factory installed screen mesh. Into the water via the handle, and let it settle to the bottom. I initially set it to do it's full super cleaning, but, I thought it started active weird, as it appeared it couldn't make up its mind where to go. So, I clicked stop on the app, and selected floor clean only. Away it went. 2 hours later it was done, and parked itself by the edge of the wall slightly tilted up so I could grab the handle. How nice. I was surprised how much grime it picked up. Didn't take pictures. And, it apparently got all the shavings because the next day I ran the super cleaning cycle with the ultra fine filters, and there were zero shavings but more sand, grit, and grime! Very easy to use. Rather heavy, especially pulling it out of the water full of water. I bought the Supreme here on Amazon, and I also bought the 3 year extended protection by Asurion. For $78, it seemed like a no brainer to extend the warranty to a 6th year for something that costs $1500 that you put in the water frequently. If at some point they can't fix during years 4-6, Asurion gives you your $1500 back. As others have said, definitely get the caddy. Their website says to use Universal Caddy Part Number 9996084. I found it for $124 via Google. I tried to ask the company which one, and they sent me a document that doesn't mention the Supreme. I told them that, and they said the Universal works with any machine. Whatever. Also ordered the Premium Cover and intend to keep it in the shade.

Update 7/20/2022 -- Matronics did reach out to me. Their original email responses went to spam, but later messages made it to my Gmail inbox. They gave me an RMA and the unit is in transit back to them. I'll update this review when I receive the robot back. For now, I'm changing my 1-star to 3-star and will likely give the robot 4-stars if the servicing goes well. --- Original Review --- Like others, I was hesitant to buy a $1,500 pool robot with so many complaints about breakdowns and poor customer service. I thought, what are the odds that I'll get a bad one? Well, it's six weeks later, and mine is dead. It's two weeks past Amazon's return window, so I emailed Maytronics (the manufacturer) support. So far it's been four days and no answer (not even an automated response). To be fair, it did work well when it was running, but I should have got more than 6 weeks out of my $1,500 investment. Now I'm back to manually vacuuming my pool until hopefully, the company decides to stand behind their product. Before hitting that buy button, as yourself, will it be worth it when it breaks down and you have to trash it? I should also mention that controlling the robot via the app rarely worked for me. Luckily you can start cleaning from the power supply box. If you do decide to get one of these, consider not paying extra for the "Supreme WiFi" version.

Rocky Start BUT Everything worked Out (4-2-2020 UPDATE)

Kindle Customer - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 24, 2020

(SEE BELOW FOR UPDATE)Within 2 hours of receiving this pool cleaner and taking it out of the box, it stopped working. I would turn it on, it would turn off and light on power supply box turned red. Filters were not even close to full. My issue other than the machine not working was the lack of manual. I had to go to the website and "flip" through a digital book. For 1500 dollars you'd think there would be a physical owners manual. Even after looking through the manual AND google searching, I could find no information on what the different light colors meant, other than blue good/red bad. So other than checking filters I had no idea what to look for. Also, right of the bat it would not connect to the WIFI. I tried on 2.4 and 5. I get that there are defective products from time to time and when I called the number on their website the lady was very nice but I really wish they would have sent me a brand new cleaner seeing as this one was broken right from the start but instead I have to send this one to them for a repair attempt. After paying this much and it not working out of the box they should have sent a new one. I'll see how the repair goes and update this review if it works. If not then I'll be getting my money back and choosing a different product. (UPDATE)I left my original review for comparison with this update. As i stated before, the people i spoke with about the issues stated above were VERY nice, professional and actually reached out to me after my initial review to see what exactly had happened so they could put notes in for the tech that would be looking at my cleaner when they received it. She also sent me a link that would take me straight to the owners manual for my particular machine. I was pleasantly surprised by the phone call. I explained to them in detail what had taken place, she apologized about the trouble and assured me i would hear back from them soon as their tech took a look at it. Turns out there was an issue with the motor. So in this case, i had just gotten unlucky and received a bad unit. She called me back and let me know that it could not be repaired and they had another cleaner (brand new) sent out to me within 2 days from the call. I got that cleaner in the mail this morning and right off the bat i was able to link the unit with my wifi and after letting in soak in the pool about 30 minutes, i set it to do a deep clean cycle and it set off without issue and ran the entire cycle time without incident. So far i have had zero issues or complaints as it seems to do what it is supposed to do and does a wonderful job. I would like to thank the people that helped me out with this issue and wish all companies support staff operated like they do.

As a retired engineer, I'm totally impressed with the level of engineering and development required in bringing this product to market. First class product..first class company. Not a lot of products live up to the marketing hype out there. This product is by far an exception. Yes, it does cost more than most pool cleaners but you get your moneys worth on this one. Exceptionally well engineered and very easy to operate. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity works flawlessly. People complaining about connectivity issues obviously are not using up to date routing and internet connectivity products on there home networks. I highly recommend this complete package with the caddy to transport the pool cleaner. No more connecting and dragging vacuum hoses around and dealing with suction issues. Just plug it in, connect to your Wi-Fi network and drop the cleaner in the pool. It scrubs the pool surfaces and vacuums.

So I held off on writing a review on this until I had more time actually using it. Overall I love the new robot. Pros: - No tangle cord - Super easy to clean. If you have an old Aquabot with the bags, there is no comparison on how easy it is to clean the cartridges on this bot. - Relatively good at cleaning entire pool (I have 1 or 2 spots for some reason that it just keeps skipping) Cons: - The app is wonky. When it works, it works great. However, on start up this season, it just refused to connect to the robot. Then suddenly it started connecting and worked great. - The Caddy really should be included for free in the top model - Pricey

Some of the reviews caused me to pause on purchasing this Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme Robot, but I took the plunge and ordered it. I got to tell you, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! In the beginning I had to get my wifi figured out. You need to have the slower farther reaching frequency linked to it. (Makes perfect sense after you think about it) Which was easy once I clicked on the non 5G Band and after that I was off to the races. I love the filters they are amazing. They catch everything. Leg hair, arm hair, bugs big & small bugs. They are so easy to clean. It takes me maybe 5 minutes to clean them out well and wipe down the machine and put it away. The app is pretty easy. I'd like to see add ons in the future like more details & functionality but compared to not having it and cleaning your own pool by hand it rocks. It can be a little tricky steering it back to you but its not a big deal. I'd buy this thing again in a heart beat. People freaking out about the app are over reacting in my opinion. I've had it for 90 days or so now and its going strong with zero problems. The only sad thing is I asked my lady to pull it out of the pool once after it was done and its a little heavy & bulky wet and she scratched the side of the robot on my concrete edge. Its only cosmetic but I was bummed. So as a heads up to the rest of you that you may want to explain or expect its a two handed squating effort to safely pull it out of the pool. I set it on a floaty matt right after to let the water drain off keeping it off the concrete and pop out the filters to go clean them right after. Its not a good idea to let the junk dry out in them. Anyway I hope my review helps those of you on the fense. This thing is AWESOME!!!

Short Version This product works as advertised, perhaps even better, and, despite some minor issues (see below), I can recommend it wholeheartedly. Long Version Our pool is along a tree line and accumulates debris like leaves and bugs. Our service people come every Wednesday, and the pool looks great once they're done, but by the time the weekend rolled around, it looked less than completely inviting. We moved into the house last year and didn't have much time to use the pool, and tended to be discouraged when we did. This year, early in the season, I researched automatic pool cleaners and decided to take the plunge despite the steep price. Months later, I can report how pleased I am. I had the device set up and the iOS app connected within 20 minutes. Using the app, I set it to start every morning at 7:30 AM, originally for 2.5 hours, and later for 3.5 hours. Every day, the pool looks clean and ready to use, with nary a trace of the debris that we'd come to expect. In the middle of summer, I only needed to clean the filters once a week, but at the start of the season, and now as fall approaches, I have to do it every other, sometimes every, day. Fortunately, it's only a minor inconvenience. Meanwhile, this device has made all the difference in the enjoyment of our pool, and I can't recommend it enough. Those Minor Issues Alas, nothing is perfect so I would be remiss if I did not mention some shortcomings. The very long cable can get twisted and the robot has no apparent way to untwist it, so I have to periodically unplug it and pull it across my yard. It would be nice if the unit could spin itself in the pool to resolve this. The app will often report that the cloud service is down, or the robot cannot be contacted, even though it is less than 20 feet from a WiFi repeater so powerful, I can pick up the signal from within the house. Usually I can either wait or force-restart the app to resolve it, but occasionally I've had to physically unplug the power supply. That's it. (I told you they were minor.)

Amazing pool vacuum but there's still room for improvement

Bryan B. - Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2020

To start I will explain the pictures. I woke up last week with a nearby wildfire which had dropped a ton of Ash into my pool. To make matters worse my power got shut off and was out for a little over two days. As soon as my power turned on I started running my pool vacuum and cleaning it out every hour or so. After two days, 1 backflush of my pool filter and about 12 times of cleaning the Nautilus my pool is looking pretty clean. As you can see in the last picture there's still some ash, but looks at much better. It's still dropping Ash but now I only have to run the pool vacuum once in the morning. I gave it five stars because if it's amazing ability to clean up a messy pool quickly. However that would mean that this pool robot was perfect, which it is not. I have found that it does okay picking up oak leaves but does not like to pick up pine needles which I have a lot of in my area. Furthermore the filters that collect the debris do not fully seal. So with fine material like ash it will drop a lot out of the filters as soon as you go to lift the Nautilus out of the water. I however pulled the Nautilus out of the water quickly and let it drain and drop the ash outside of the pool. This makes the Nautilus quite heavy because it's holding close to a gallon or so of water plus the weight of the unit... Even if you had to let it drain down in the pool and drop the debris, it will most likely collect it on the next round of running the pool vacuum. In which case will just require more cleaning of the filters. I'm sure the same thing will be true during our pollen season. But I did not have this pool vacuum when that took place. So that being said I would rate it a four and a half Stars. But keep in mind this is an amazing pool vacuum and does a great job

The new unit has none of the issues of the old one - and I’ve waited for a full summer of cleaning to confirm that. It connects to WiFi easily, cleans thoroughly, and does MUCH better at the water line. I did not have high hopes for the unit, but it exceeded our expectations. I am glad we gave it a second try. And again thank you to Pool Zoom for being so helpful. Earlier review below: We really enjoyed this product for the week it worked. Then we got the red ring of death. - There is NO helpful documentation included with the product or online. It’s shocking. - There is no support outside of m-f business hours. Email? “We will get back to you within a few days” Frankly, these Amazon reviews are the best support available. At least now I know that this is a common problem. Way too common. Pretty Great Overall, A Couple of Not So Great Things You Should Know

Loved this. Incredibly easy to use. Easy to clean. Pool is now cleaner than it's ever been. Works as advertised. Maybe even better than advertised in terms of the end results. Still, a couple negatives: i) if you have any meaningful amount of leaves, you'll spend a lot of time taking the unit out of the pool, emptying out the leaves, and then putting it back in the pool -- that's because the filter is small, the leaves fill it up very quickly, and the machine won't continue to pick them up once the filter is full. On average, I end up emptying the filter about every 30-40 minutes of time it's in the pool; ii) don't count on the phone app working--not a big deal because you can still put it in the water and turn it off and on without the phone app, but it's a surprise that for a product this good that the phone app doesn't work very well. All in all, I'm happy with the product because it cleans so well and couldn't be easier to use, but it would be great if they could design a machine with a much larger filter for the leaves.

I was able to connect out of the box without a problem, however the "remote control" barely worked at all. I was unable to steer the unit more than a few inches before it just stopped or reversed course on its own. This morning, I was unable to connect to start a cleaning cycle. After much troubleshooting, I spoke with Maytronics support. It seems they have "pushed and update" and currently, mobile devices are not connecting to the cleaner. Without the connection, the only option is power cycling with activates the "basic" cleaning mode. I have concerns about a $1,500 unit being unstable out of the box and being reliant on Maytronics' continued support to control the most basic functions of the unit. Support is working on a solution, but they are unable to provide a date for another update. If it is not stable in the next 10 days, I will need to return while I still have the option... I like that I can set different types of coeaning modes...like wall only, floor only or ultra clean. I did go big with the wifi connected and manual drive features. Even though I typically like those types of options, the wifi and app usage is only a slight convenience probably not worth the money. The manual drive is not that responsive and cumbersome at best. I would consider another Dolphin for sure, but likely go with the one that is fundamentally the same but not pay for the wifi/remote control features.

Good enough pool robot

Amazon Customer - Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2020

This is my third pool robot. It is replacing a aquabot t2 turbo. My pool is about 36,000 gallons and spa. Lots of curved walls. The previous owners removed the filter suction powered automatic cleaner so I have been using pool robots as the main cleaner. I have had it for about 3 weeks and have run a cycle just about every day Pros: Fast cleaner. The nautilus supreme cc moves! It is fun to watch it speed its way across the pool bottom. Easy to clean. The filter cartridges come out and a part easy. A quick rinse off with a hose sprayer and it is ready to go back in the pool Wall climbing/waterline. Does a good job climbing the walls and sweeping the water line. It climbs all the steps and cleans them, though it might take two cycles to get all of them. Cons: The app is pretty terrible from what I can tell. It needs to connect to WiFi, and that is the problem. It needs to have a password 32 characters or less. If your password is any better than that, the app gets stuck in the connect screen and there is no way out it. You have to delete it and reinstall and then the cycle starts over. Customer support: As other people have mentioned it is not super. The app has a contact, which I bet answers through the app, but since it won’t complete the setup I have no idea. I have emailed a few times with no response, and my work hours haven’t allowed me to call yet. Cleaning: the wall climbing bumpers while they help with the climbing, they are very solid and prevent the brushes from scrubbing. If you have green algae, there will be two clean lines where the bumpers were and a lighter sweeping everywhere else. Overall. 3 stars.

BEWARE. Not good for ALL pools.

LovesToShop - Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2020

I was super excited to use this product, but had to return it. My pool has white plaster and some of the walls don't have much curve into the floor. This model has black plastic in the corners and sides, so the unit would scrape along the wall and leave black scuff marks along the edge. If you have light plaster, I suggest that you get a model that is white in color. Also, the "manual" mode through the app is not very good. Too much lag and not enough precision. You press a button, and nothing happens for a while, then it moves, and you let go of the button and it keeps going for a second. Not too troublesome for forward and reverse, but when you are trying to turn left or right and line it up, it is impossible. The manufacturer should make the manual mode turning 10X slower than what it is for it to be useful. Other than that, it is a very nice model with lots of features that is easy to clean.

I purchased the dolphin 5 months ago for about $1600 thinking it is top of line and should there be any issues with the product customer service would be exceptional given the cost of this robot. For the price I paid I would not expect to have any issues with the product for a long time, however 5 months in I am getting a power supply error on the app. This is the second issue I have had, however the first issue was resolved after deleting and re down loading the app. To me the current issue with the power supply error is a huge concern given this product is powered by electricity and used in the pool. Customer service has been very slow in responding and as of late has not responded at all to my request for a replacement unit given the price of the product and only using it for 5 months. The company has agreed to let me return it for repair, but given the price and time of ownership and issues with power supply I would expect replacement. If they replace the product with a new unit I would be happy but so far am very disappointed in the product and customer service. My recommendation as of now....keep looking for a better product from a different company that cares about the customer.

After a lot of research, decided to buy this unit. Received it quickly and unpacked and put it to work. - fairly efficient once you get an internet connection for the APP (the internet connection is required) which is a small challenge as pool is 15 yards away from house and internet modem is on the far side of the house. The 3rd brush does a fairly good job of scrubbing. There is no mapping feature of the pool for the supreme (not very smart) it does sometimes takes 2 cycles (5 hrs)to get the whole pool clean. Watching it, it seems that it at times it appears confused and takes 15-30 seconds to continue on the next leg. Since 2006 have been using a Blue Diamond RC robot for pool cleaning which mapped the pool and only took 1 3 hour cycle to get it all. By the way it still works great but needs new brush's. Bought this as I am afraid to take the BD RC apart being 15 years of pool cleaning and chlorine though I am reconsidering after watching this one work. Did not help with no caddy being included at the price. So this robot is ok but.......

Device to robot pairing with app never worked on any of my devices.

Amazon Customer - Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2021

I was extremely disappointed when I was unable to pair my device to the robot. I attempted this with 3 different Apple and Android devices and nothing worked. Maytronics customer support offered as much assistance as they could give, and concluded that the power supply must be faulty. They would have shipped me a replacement except they are all back ordered due to the supply chain chip shortages, and they have no idea when there will be more supply. My advice to others is to not bother with paying extra for the models that offer phone apps to control your robot with. I was really looking forward to using all of the premium features I paid hundreds more for with the app, so I’m now regretting purchasing this product. One other thing to keep in mind is that if your WiFi uses 5G then it will not work, as Maytronics seems to be very much behind today’s technology standards, and the device will only work on 2.4G WiFi networks. This is just one more hoop you’ll need to jump through as most everyone is using dual band routers, which might not be compatible with your dolphin robot. Otherwise as a pool cleaner, it works great. Simple to use, just drop it in the pool and turn it on, and it goes to work. You can buy models at half the price which perform just as well. Save your money and go with a basic robot without all the bells and whistles that come with a phone app. Not really worth the trouble, hassle, or price. I fully intend to return my Dolphin Nautilus Supreme back to Amazon, if my power supply replacement from Maytronics doesn’t arrive before the Amazon Returns deadline.

The Cleaning Beast

I had the old style pool pump suction sweeper that always did just an okay job for the first few years. Year 5 and not sure if it was the gears or what but it hardly moved. This Dolphin arrived and wow. Just plugged it in and tossed it into the pool and it went to work without even setting anything up. Watched it climb over the small 3 inch lip that starts at the down slope for the deep end and make it to the water line scrubbing the sides easily. I let it do its 2.5 hr cycle, pool spotless. The setup is bit glitchy, would not connect to wifi, restarted the app and then it seemed to work just fine. My only complaint is not about item or company...why use FED EX they are horrible, first they tried to deliver my item to an Apt ? Second when it arrived box was fairly beat up and torn. I was worried either things were missing or broken. Luckily the packaging is very cushioned and everything was okay. Should have bought this when my sweeper was dying a year ago. 06/11/21 Been over a year, the beast is still going strong! Worth every penny!

Likes: programmable cleaning mode, waterline scrubbing, easy to lift out of pool, set it and forget it, cord floats and doesn't tangle, intuitive wifi app. Dislikes: that might be too harsh a term, but I wish the filter compartment opened wider so I could flush out twigs and debris easier, and/or opened on top and bottom (instead of just the top) bc the water i hose into the compartment to flush it out comes right back at me. Also the filters are a little temperamental in fitting them back into place after rinsing them off. Also, a little pricey but honestly when comparing other brands,, it seems you pay for quality, longevity and reliability. Other than these few peculiarities, this bot is the new king of the pool.

What they failed to mention, and I didn’t realize until they sent me the RMA email, is that I had to pay to ship it to them. Not my idea of the “exceptional experience” they advertise. I’ve owned several Aquabot products, one that lasted almost 20 years. Guess I’ll see how long this one lasts but I don’t expect customer service to be of any help. So overall, this robot has performed satisfactory. The Nautilus CCplus is about half the price of this one and the main difference is the wifi connectivity which is spotty and hard to set up because in my experience you have to get the power unit in an ideal spot that gets 60% wifi strength (per customer service). Once I got that set up, the app is user friendly. My main complaint: the traction threads have already popped off a FEW times. This is annoying but easily fixed. But my question to Dolphin is: why don’t you include an error notification and alert on both the app and the power unit so owners can address the issue immediately instead of having us find out when we pull the unit out for filter cleans??? Please include this in your next software update!!! The new voice control feature is cool but I prefer a full filter indicator and hardware error notification instead. Oh and it would have been nice to have the caddy thrown in for what you are paying. I can’t believe there’s no package deal or even for an extra $100 owners get a package deal of sorts.

I also like this seller. I had ordered a lower price replacement frim then after my 7 yr old dolphin died, and the $600 model was so light weight that it wouldn’t sit on the bottom of the pool... it just floated and was defective. I returned it for a full refund and decided on this more expensive model. It was shipped quickly although during covid, many things are shipping slowly.... overall a very solid purchase for my needs. My pool is in a forest and I get a lot of leaves, pollen, etc.. hoping this one lasts for years as well. I’m not using the Bluetooth feature as it jumps off while I’m wandering around the property, but it may work for others. Another plus is that it has more rollers/suction and picks up even sand and dirt.

This robot has worked great thus far. We are in the final steps of having our in-ground pool completed and so we started with a ton of construction dirt/junk in the pool. After using a borrowed robot for several days we ordered and promptly received this dolphin nautilus CC supreme. The pool went from pretty clean to very clean after just a few cycles of cleaning and was picking up the very small dirt/dust that the other robot wouldn't/couldn't. It does not get stuck on drains and it does climb our swimout ledges/seats and clean them too. It does not work on the steps (very well), and will not run on our tanning ledge (I believe it thinks it is out of the water). The filters are easy to change and clean, but that is also the most annoying part of operation. When cleaning them out, you end up with 6 pieces to clean since there are two filtering baskets and within each basket there are 2 filters plus the casing. Not a big deal really. So far, very happy with this purchase.

My set up is a decent distance from the router and there is no difficulty connecting. I’ve written about the app because there appears to be some issues in other reviews but I had none. As for the vacuum, it does the job. We have a 20x40 vinyl pool. The vacuum crawls over every inch including the walls in around 2 hours, and voila! the pool is clean. Cleaning the vacuum after is simple. So much simpler and better than the system we used for years that relied upon the pool pump for power. And a three year manufacturer warranty, plus I purchased the extended coverage for another three years. Good product and it does what it’s supposed to do.

One 2.5 hour cycle leaves our large pool spotless. The two integrated filters are simple to remove and easy to clean. In this price range you should expect elevated performance, and the Nautilus CC Supreme definitely delivers. Well done, Maytronics. One minor point of frustration was that the package shipped in the original Maytronics box, but arrived with one of the integrated handles ripped out. We also have a “safety ledge” along the bottom of the pool and the robot does not clean it. I knew it wouldn’t get the top of the tanning ledge because it was too shallow but I didn’t think the ledge at the bottom of the pool would be an issue. Excluding the time it took me to read the manual and set up the app, I had the nautilus in the water five minutes after taking it out of its box. We had the pool manually cleaned but there was still some debris on the pool floor. After the four hours cleaning cycle was completed, all the debris was gone. (Leaves, sand and airborne seeds). Cleaning the filter was very easy. So far, I am very impressed with this pool vac.

It does not come with a caddy so you will have to purchase one or have the proper storage for it. Although, it is excellent with climbing the walls it doesn’t do well with my stairs or sun deck. This is something I can live with but really shouldn’t at this price point. It is also recommended in the manual that you keep it out of the water, sun and in a dry location when not cleaning. I was not happy to read that information but adjusted around it as there is a 20% restocking fee to return it in brand new condition and a 50% fee if not considered brand new condition by this seller. Just a few unknowns you should be aware of before purchasing. With all that said, the Nautilus CC Supreme is a very good overall pool cleaner.

The Power Source would start and then just stop after 1-2 minutes. The robot would not vacuum anything during that time. Calling customer service, they were going to charge me $200+ to ship it back to them, but after much haggling, they finally agreed to cover the shipping to their warehouse to fix the unit. That took a few weeks (which is CRAZY since it was less than 3 months old and cost over $1500. No local repair option. By the time we got it back, we used it for about 4 weeks before our pool had to close for the year. We just took it out to use it for our pool this year and it doesn't work. We plug it in, it trips the fuse every time and the power source is not working. Super Frustrated. I was nervous to purchase this, but liked the size, functions and reviews. That said- I wish I had purchased from a local store. If I knew I was going to have to pay $200+ to ship it to be repaired when it's still pretty much brand new, I definitely would not have purchased it. Such a huge rip off. We have a fiberglass pool with stairs- it doesn't clean the stairs or clean the walls (though it says it does). Not sure what we are going to do now. I have another ticket open with Maytronics, but am considering just buying another vacuum locally as I don't want to wait 4 weeks to get it back or pay $200 to ship it.

This pool vacuum was such a good investment. So I haven’t actually used all the functions yet. I haven’t set it up on the wifi or even used the app. However, I put him in the pool at least every other day and it’s always sparkling and crystal clear. We have a lot of oak trees nearby and it has no issues picking them up in the pool. I do rinse it down and hose the filters after every use. Definitely a worth while investment.

This is an added item for my inground pool. Initial setup took longer than I thought it would but now the connection is a breeze. Watching it clean the pool is both a bit spooky. It is natural to watch it clean the bottom of the pool but when it actually goes up the side of the pool and then breaks the water surface it almost looks like it will leave the pool. Pretty cool at night watching it work with its lights on and the outdoor and pool lights off. Incredibly happy with the way it works and how clean the pool without much effort on my part. I get to enjoy the pool more because I spend less time cleaning it.

I don't really think this thing is learning my pool - or else why does it always seem to end its cycle in the deep end? I have seen it spend a fair amount of time cleaning at the water line level. It seems to have some trouble getting algae off the bends at the corners at the deep end. I have to run it several times to pick up what it seems to miss, but I can scrub with a brush if necessary. It definitely has saved me time.

It climbs walls but the problem is that it does not really clean anything. The ground it goes over the same area and it is still not clean like the old dolphins would do. Love the cord on this versus my previous dolphin, it does not tangle. The debris reservoir leaves a lot to be desired. It is small and needs to be constantly clean. Overall, i guess it is ok but if I could I would return it for an old style cleaner with a bag.

$1,600 and it's died after 60 days!?

CR - Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2022

The unit has completely died after 60 days. The problems began when it arrived and I downloaded the App. The App has 56 1-star reviews, it is horrible. 50% of the time it won't connect with the machine and when it does it fails to change the cleaning cycles or change the cleaning times. I was never able to setup daily or weekly schedules and because none of the settings would save. I also had trouble with the suction and the climbing ability. I've always believed you get what you pay for and I thought $1,600 for a poll vacuum would get me an excellent machine - I was absolutely wrong. And since there is no way to fully operate it manually (from the power unit) once the App fails it basically becomes a $1,600 boat anchor. PLEASE take a look at the "Maytronics Dolphin Plus" App before you ever consider buying this. The reviews there was give you a good idea of what you're getting yourself into.

When the app stopped functioning I contacted Maytronics. I was a good sport and jumped through their hoops, having me reinstall the app 100 times, moving my home access point around to get better signal. I knew the entire time my WiFi wasn't the issue - the software is just horrible. I'm not nitpicking either - I used the robot for a month dealing with the unreliable connection and put up with it because the robot was helping me clean. But now it won't connect at all which makes the robot useless (no manual override). Their support has since stopped responding to me completely, 6 weeks after I bought it. I really wanted to like this robot because it does what it should. The company service is just horrible though. One other thing that customers should know - and I don't know if this was by mistake - but when dealing with their support they revealed some things about my home network that I found creepy for them to know about. The controller apparently relays all sorts of details about your home network back to them and they store it for who knows what purpose. But as a privacy concern, I think everyone should be aware of this.

Bought this based on other rave reviews. No matter which filter is in the vacuum it always leaves stuff behind in the pool. Absolutely can not run it while not home (so the dream of starting the vacuum and having a nice ready to jump in pool won't actually happen) because it gets stuck on the stairs. Not only does it get stuck on the bottom step (so NO this $1500 robot will not even vacuum your stairs!) it will stay stuck for the remainder of the time to clean the pool...meaning it will sit there stuck to the curved edge of a stair for 2.5 hrs unless you move it. For $1500 I would expect a vacuum that does at least as good a job of vacuuming as I can do manually, won't get stuck on the side of a stair but would actually vacuum the stairs. UPDATE 2 yrs later: We are coming up on having this for almost 2 yrs now. At this point we are now having to replace the hose and the climbing wheels. Not sure what else we may need to replace. I really want to love this robot but with the issues we have had, lack of any response from customer service and having to replace parts with less than 2 years of ownership I absolutely do not recommend this product. Black marks all around the pool

J. Parker - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 8, 2022

The black plastic rubs on the plaster leaving black lines which are very visible. I noticed other reviews saying the same thing but figured it was rare. For $1700, you’d think you wouldn’t have black lines all around your pool. I’d like to return this as it’s damaging my plaster but the seller advised me of a restocking fee and shipping charges. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this pool robot or this seller.

DO NOT Buy This for Free Form Pools

ob1 - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 20, 2020

Delivery of the Nautilus CC Supreme was on-time and painless. Unboxing and setting up the cleaner was a breeze. That's about it. I am now the owner of a "cleaning challenged" $1,500 "brick". This cleaner will not clean to the waterline, leaves whole areas of the pool untouched, has no "idea" how to climb sloping sides, and requires me to "help" it clean the sides. All in all, it saves me about 15 minutes out of 2 hours scrubbing...pretty expensive helper. Maybe if you have a standard rectangular tile pool, this is the one for you. The top internet reviews should really explore this issue, and not lead people astray. I'm no different than most of the "experts". Everyone has both an opinion and a ...., nuff said. Build quality is excellent, value not so much, performance...on my pool is poor. My advice, for the price, hire a pool boy for the summer! Not a recommended buy for free form, sloped pools.

App doesn't work so robotic cleaner is useless

Karen Sievers - Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2020

We just bought this robot and used it once and on the second try, the app refused to work, said wifi wasn't working or power supply too far from wifi signal which wasn't so, it was right next to it. Without the app, the robot would only clean the bottom of the pool, not the walls, etc. and these features could only be used through the app not on the machine itself. It is a great robotic cleaner if the app worked, which it doesn't, and we could not contact Maytronics customer service, telephone number always busy, Amazon couldn't help either except telling us to return it, so we are returning the robot. After the fact, I did read reviews of the app and most agree the app is terrible and doesn't work. It is a shame as the robot itself works great but certainly is not worth the money if you cannot access all its capabilities and the app does not work. So buyer beware.

Paint was chipping from the handle and there were scratches and scuff marks on the body of the robotic cleaner. For $1,500 the unit should be pristine. It often gets stuck on the weir filter inlets and stairs. After cleaning 2 ft of the waterline it will suddenly stop and go back down to the bottom of the pool. While it is supposed to be a top of the line unit I have found the way this makes decisions to leave gaps in clean in corners etc. it will repeatedly clean the deeper end of the pool over and over leaving the shallow patchy in any cycle. Steve - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 11, 2022

[See Revised update] This is my first robotic cleaner. It is a very nice cleaner and seems well built BUT it does NOT go up to the water line. I have tried various settings and nothing works. I have a 30,000 gal free form pool. It also misses spots in the pool. I tried out a cheaper dolphin demo cleaner from Pinch-a-Penny that did almost as well as this top model. I do like the three brushes though. The cleaner does a great job with the majority of the pool. It is not a lite cleaner, but is a bit heavy to get out of the pool. The Dolphin Google App the company recommend downloading is USELESS. You have to be 3 feet from the power unit for it to work!!! The cart is nice and fairly sturdy but the instructions were clearly written by someone who is challenged with the English language. I had to start tear down and start over assembling the cart. It took awhile. Revision (after the pool is cleaner): I'm using the cleaner for about the 4th time today. It is going up on the waterline (at least in the shallow end). The cell app is working a lot better. It's as if it updated or something because there are functions that didn't appear before. One of the functions I particularly liked was the manual drive to get a couple of spots the cleaner missed. It is really getting the pool clean.

Amazon Customer - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 24, 2022

The media could not be loaded. I read all the reviews and one dealer was trying to sell me on the premier but then I realize they do not sell this model and that’s why they were pushing the Premier. I have tried other pool cleaners from local companies that let you try before you buy and this is by far the best pool cleaner I have tried yet so I bought this one. Some people say it does not climb the walls properly and some say it doesn’t climb the steps I have to tell you it does everything. I clean my pool every few days and my pool looks spotless. I absolutely recommend this unit to anybody looking for a quality pool cleaner with Wi-Fi capabilities. It took me about two minutes to figure out how to use the remote control on the phone because you have to know that no matter which way you turn it the front of the machine responds not the way you’re looking at it. You need to figure out which part is the front first and then it’s easy to use. People say it doesn’t hold enough debris but my pool was full of small leaves and it cleaned everything with room to spare in the 2 large cleaner filters. Between the two filters there is more than enough room for all the debris in my pool. I set it up to my Wi-Fi in about five minutes and it works perfectly. The only part I had trouble figuring out is how to adjust the handle which apparently is a float and decides how it will clean the scum line but once I figured that out it worked amazingly I added some pictures so you can see how well it climbs the walls. And it also cleans my stairs perfectly. I put it in my spa and it cleaned the entire spa even up the seat it went right up the side and right over the seat and right up the walls look at the pictures. After buying this I’m wondering why I used a pool service for $100 a month for the last five years I now take care of my own pool and all it cost me is a few dollars a month for chlorine tablets and chemicals that’s it. In conclusion all I have to say is I love this machine it works amazing it does everything it says it is supposed to do and more and I totally recommend it the people that put negative reviews either don’t know how to use it properly or they’re trying to sell somebody else’s machine or they are pushing different products, in my opinion only. I’ll add one more thing. The suction power is fantastic and it is very easy to clean.

Keeps the pool crystal clear with 2 cleaning cycles per day

Leave it in the pool all year round and schedule a daily cleaning in the am and then manually start it in the evening with a press of a button or from the app. Ultra fine filters only! Cleans up in 5 minutes. Black plastic can mark up the base of walls is only complaint.

Good Cleaning, Easy, and Silent!

Simon - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 21, 2021

First things first: get the caddy! I’m not that old or out of shape, but this is quite heavy to move around by its own. It was very hard for me to select this model because of the variety of models this company produces for online sells and also different models for physical stores. Each model is slightly different too, making it harder to compare the minor details about them. This Supreme model had everything I wanted to have on my first pool cleaner including manual steering. The manual steering is not impressive though. It has a delay, and it’s hard to control the unit. The app is also a bit unintuitive, so hopefully they work on it. I tried a PentAir pool vacuum before ordering this one, and it was a lot of hassle to setting it up, attaching the hose, and running it over night while the pump was on high speed. It wasn’t silent, and it didn’t even do a good job at cleaning, so finally I bit the bullet and ordered this. My first run with the Nautilus with the bigger fall/spring screen mesh filters that were already inside the machine was very smooth and silent. The WiFi took a few minutes to setup, and it kept failing until it suddenly started working! After that, it was as simple as dropping the machine inside the pool and hitting the clean button. It took 2-3 hours and did a wonderful job. You can see the clean lines among the otherwise greenish pool on the second picture. I have an irregular infinity pool, so after the first run, I dropped it into the other side which is like a narrow rectangular spillover 3x30 ft., and it worked there too. One nice thing about this machine is that it is bidirectional! It works and scrubs both going forward and also while going backwards without the need to turn. That’s why even in a narrow space, it could easy go back and forth between the two walls. Second day I tried the ultra fine filters. They even picked up more dirt from my pool. I’m very satisfied with the cleaning power of this unit over the PentAir vacuum I tried before. Downsides I’ve seen so far: 1- cord is hard to manage. It has a tendency to jump off the holder by its own. A latch or something would’ve made it perfect. 2- brushes are not as fast as I thought they would be, but they clean well enough. 3- app can be better. 4- heavy. 5- doesn’t do steps. 6- price!!! It should be at least 30-40% less for what it is. I will update this review in coming weeks when I’ve used it more. Good thing is that it has 3 years of warranty. Update 2022: After 10 months of ownership, I’ve saved almost the full cost of the unit and caddy by firing my regular pool service company. However, I should disclose that measuring chlorine levels and balancing the pool costs about $15-$30 per month, but I measure the levels extensively like every other day. In addition, I have to brush the pool myself every other week which is not a fun thing to do. Other than these hassles, I’m happy that I don’t pay any maintenance pool fees, and strangers don’t come into my backyard every other week. In a 3 year time, I will be saving at least a net of $3000 when deducting the cost of the unit and water balancing, so I would say it’s a good deal. Thanks for reading, and YMMV.

Warranty requires you to ship the whole unit back

JohnE - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on August 17, 2022

Warranty requires you to ship the whole unit back at your expense. So even though I did some troubleshooting and identified that the blue cable is damaged, support issued me an RMA but they still require the whole unit, including the unit itself, the blue cable and power supply to be sent back to the service center. Considering that the unit is bulky and heavy, the shipping will cost about $100 from my place to the service center.

So far, so good!

Skax - Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 3, 2020

Today is my first day using this and so far i've noticed it learns as it cleans! When it first started cleaning the waterline, the front roller would grab onto the protruded & rounded brick above it causing it to loose contact with the wall. This went on for the first 30 - 45 mins of the cleaning cycle before it made adjustments and suprisingly corrected! The more you use it, the better it gets! I'm happy so far, no red light of death yet. I'll update if needed. Btw, you can get this on poolsupplyunlimited's web site for the same price and it comes with the caddy. EDIT: A few months in and I can say it still works well but isn't as smart as I expected. It has no idea when you pull it out of water and will continue to operate as if its still in the pool. Also I don't get messages when the bins are full. The software is also weird about setting it to 3.5 hours from the normal 2.5 but that's a nit pick.

Although it is pricy, compared to an outside pool service, this robot will pay for itself in about 5-6 months. It runs circles around our old Polaris and is actually cheaper to run........uses less electricity than the pumps that break down. We love the Dolphin and the folks at Maytronics are wonderful to work with. We'll never use anything else.

They made us ship it back to them, AT OUR EXPENSE (+$65)!!! What we received was an obviously used replacement and a power supply that DIDNT WORK!!! This pool cleaner is so effortless…I haven’t gotten the app to download on my phone yet but from what I see I don’t know how anyone could have a pool without one. I do have a kayak above ground pool with a vinyl liner, so far no issues or concerns. I am keeping the pool open a bit longer this year as I’m getting some back yard renovations done, this thing has even picked up a few small stones that found it’s way inside the pool. I can’t wait until we reopen the pool next season. I’ll actually get to spend more time relaxing in it versus the hours I wasted cleaning it!!! If I can get the app to download that will be my bonus. I’ll be able to program it from anywhere. This is the best gift a pool owner can have. I didn’t order the caddy but as soon as I find the one for this I will purchase as it is a bit heavy to carry back and forth. I have even used it in 50 degree weather and it worked fine without any issues.

Cleaning the Pool never been so easy

Andrew Mark - Reviewed in Canada on June 25, 2022

My weeks are so busy, and I just do not have the luxury of time to do proper pool cleaning. I thought of paying for a weekly pool guy to come and clean the pool, but that was very expensive. Really expensive. So I was stuck with the “robotic” pool cleaner I had. You know, the one that gets attached directly to the skimmer. But it often got stuck in the corner or didn't clean all the areas. In other words, it needed a "babysitter." I knew I had to buy a real pool cleaning robot. I made a list of what I wanted the robot to do, and the CC Supreme made the shortlist. I have done a lot of research about robotic cleaners, and this is the one I decided to purchase. It is expensive, to be sure, but it is worth it. I have had it for about two weeks, and it does what it is supposed to. I am very impressed. I highly recommend it.

Question & Answers

Question
Why won't this cleaner climb the walls?
Answer

The above ground robotic pool cleaners are designed specifically for cleaning the FLOORS ONLY.

Question
What is the typical life span of a Dolphin robot?
Answer

The Dolphin is designed to last many seasons. However, the lifespan differs from Dolphin to Dolphin. Many different factors play a role, such as amount of use, pool chemistry, and pool surface.

Question
What DIY repairs can I complete on my Dolphin?
Answer

DIY repairs should be completed by an authorized technician. Please contact your local retailer for service, Maytronics directly at 1-888-365-7446 or the support page of our website.

Question
What are the voltage requirements for the Dolphin power supply?
Answer

The Dolphin requires a standard 120v outlet for power.

Question
Has anyone had success connecting this to Linksys routers?
Answer

myLinksysrouterisworkingfine.Myspacebarisnotthoughitseems.

Question
What features does this cleaner have that make it a top of the line model?
Answer

Like the other person who answered stated, it has 3 brushes. It also comes with two different kinds of filters, a mesh type for general use and a finer particulate filter for sand/silt/algae, etc. Beyond that, this model has WiFi, and you use an app on your phone to control the robot and set up scheduling as well as tell it to start a clean and what kind of clean-up you want it to do (regular, fast cleaning, walls only, floor only, extra-clean). We have had 3 Dolphin robots over the years and two Nautilus: the Supreme and the standard nautilus cc. The Supreme (the one you're asking about) does water edge cleaning, and the other nautilus robots do not. Think of it like the "roomba" of the pool robot world... There are plenty of robot vacuums out there, but like a roomba this one actually has alot of "smart" features that you can't find in the lower-tier models.

Question
I have an older rectangular pool with square walls . Will it climb the 90 degree walls with no sloping transition?
Answer

Yes

Question
Does it clean corners well (ex: use features like water jets to loosen debris)?
Answer

It does for me

Question
What filters do i have to buy for this model? are the filters the same for the nautilus cc plus?
Answer

You receive two types of filters when you purchase. There are 4 filters in the box withe the unit as it requires 2 to run. I dont know if they are the same as the plus as it only has two brushes and the supreme has 3 so the housing may be different

Question
Does it clean the steps?
Answer

Definitely cleans steps well

Question
Does this work well on cleaning leaves off the bottom of the pool floor? Also, is it safe for pools with vinyl liners?
Answer

it cleanes even palm shards off the bottom of our pool let alone the leaves and small rocks that get kicked in . The bristles are not rigid enough to damage a vinyl pool liner in my opinion.

Question
Can you be in the pool while the unit is running?
Answer

When using the MyDolphinPlus app to start the cleaner (ours is named Carlton), there is a warning that says "Please make sure that there are no swimmers in the pool". That being said, the Dolphin moves fairly slow and is easy to out run. Just be aware that if you get distracted sipping a beer or or something, he might gnaw one of your toes off!

Question
how long in manufacturer warranty?
Answer

The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme comes with an industry leading 3-year Limited Warranty backed by Maytronics, the leading Robotic Pool Cleaner manufacturer in the world.

Question
When it's time to get it out of the pool, is there a call home like feature? Do you have to pull the cable? Navigate it via the app?
Answer

Pull the cord. It’s very light when under water. Just pull it up to the surface then grab the handle. Pulling from the water to the pool deck via the handle takes a little muscle. Takes a few seconds for the water to drain, then it is much easier to carry.

Question
Has anyone had success connecting this to orbi
Answer

I’ve connected ours to an Orbi WiFi system. The WiFi shouldn’t really matter to much. Also, the is Bluetooth connectivity but of course to use this away from home you need it connected to WiFi

Question
Does the app tell you when the filter is full?
Answer

As far as I can tell, the app does not inform you when the filters are full. I do not use the app often as it really does not add much functionality. I just toss it in the pool and turn it on. I will say that after using two previous pool scrubbers, this one has done the best job by far.

Question
When it gets stuck sideways on the edge of stairs so that the tracks aren't touching anything, will the center brush propel it off?
Answer

Mine has never gotten stuck. It seems to autocorrect

Question
The price went up from 900 to 1500 at amazon before prime day. This product is only 840 at other retailers
Answer

You can buy from a pool store and get a guarantee

Question
Can this robot navigate up and down a slope? My pool has a steep slope from the shallow end to the deep end.
Answer

Yes, my pool goes from 4ish feet to 9.5 and it has no problem on the slope. The force of the water gives it good traction all around the pool bottom and up to the water line as well.

Question
Confused by all the dolphin names among dealers and online..is this similar to the maytronics active 30 model? does it map your pool?
Answer

There are a bunch of different models. It’s very confusing. I wanted a top of the line model, so I bought this one. Just bought the most expensive one, crosses my fingers and hoped for the best. Main pros are 3 brushes. Many other models just have two. It has two filter cartridges that load from the top. Very easy to clean the filters. I’m happy with the purchase. The documentation says it “maps” the pool. But not sure what that means. It still moves in a somewhat random pattern. I like how it will climbs the walls and scrub the water line. Actually gets an inch or so above the water line. I think some models are better at getting the water line than others.

Question
Is there a promo code or rebate? Polaris robotic cleaners are offering a $100 gift card rebate right now
Answer

definitely worth the money even without rebate

Question
My robot does not surface when done? Am I doing something wrong in setting it up to clean?
Answer

Robot Does not surface out once done with cleaning cycle. It is submerged, as it does not float, but it usually finishes and stays on the same drop out area when the cycle begin/starts.. It can stay there, for days, or you can get it out if swimming pool is going to be used.

Question
Sometimes when I open the app it says “ our cloud service seems to be down” is that normal?
Answer

I relocated my wireless router to increase signal strength and have not had the problem reoccur

Question
Does it have mapping technology?
Answer

No

Question
Can you program the cleaner with the app to do more than 1 week ahead or is just like all the other ones where you can only do 1 week at a time?
Answer

you program the app for the schedule you like and it runs untill you change it. Ee i set up my unit months ago and it runs on the scheduled time and day i dont have to worry or change anything unless i want to change the days or times it will run.

Question
How does the handle lock in place for cleaning. I never understood that. Can someone enlighten me?
Answer

No the handle simply pivots while out of water. It is floats so is up while in the water. The notch protects the cable from catching on anything. Cleaning is super simple and once the 2 filters are removed , a quick spray with a hose is all that’s needed.

Answer

Question
Can you direct the vacuum on where to clean? We borrowed a dolphin and it never wanted to clean the tanning deck... it just kept going to main pool
Answer

Yes, you can do that by selecting this option on the iPhone app. Contrary to the manufacturer's statement, this robot WILL NOT clean your pool walls or waterline or stairs. Nor will it clean your pool bottom efficiently. This thing does a better job on a square or rectangular pool with no cove around the bottom perimeter. Any ledges in your pool? Watch the robot quit.

Question
Can let it work under an automatic/electric cover while it’s closed?
Answer

yes as long as u put the cord in first, it floats, so that it can reach when closed it will work fine

Question
my pool has a 90 degree angle not round, will that be okay?
Answer

I'm sure it would be fine but may not get the corners very well and will require brushing debris out manually. I've got a few spots it doesn't get very well. But I'm not sure if there is anything pool vacuums that gets those spots very well anyways

Question
I bought the extended warranty and it has quit working and the phone number is disconnected!!! What do I do?
Answer

I am assuming you mean assurion, just email them.

Question
Does your pool cleaner vacuum in straight lines or have a random pattern?
Answer

The pool cleaner moves in random straight lines up the wall, then down the wall and then crosses the bottom to another location. My pool has many curved shapes (no flat surfaces). However, the brushes cover most all the pool surfaces in a 3 1/2 hour run. It will not climb onto a top pool step. It will climb up to the top tiles of a pool wall. Essentially the brushes reach 95% of the water surfaces more than once in a 3+ hr run. The wide roller brushes are running over multiple/variable curved surfaces over most all surfaces each time.

Question
My pool is large with 3 shelfs. If it doesnt do a good job can I return it?
Answer

you have 30 days per Amazon's return policy but I can tell you it doesn't clean the shelf or stairs in my pool but the way it cleans and scrubs the rest of the pool makes it worth not having to scrub the walls every other day myself i tend to scrub the shelf n stairs once a week at most

Question
Dose it work with 220v?
Answer

No. Not the one I bought here in the US. You might check with the company to find out if they make a European version that runs on 220v.

Question
Can it be used to clean a spa and pool or can you only program one area.
Answer

The “programming” of this unit is only to tell it how long to run and whether you want to clean floor+walls, floor only, etc. I use it for both pool and our attached spa using the same “floor+walls” mode and its cleans both very well.

Question

Answer

Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme

Question
Does this cleaner have a light?
Answer

No light, only indicators are on the power unit outside of the cleaner

Question
Is it possible to integrate with home automation?
Answer

not at this time the manufacturer has their own app. I have alreaded suggested changes to their app like being able to schedule the type of cleaning u want on specific days. You can ask them if they can look into integration but i think they will probably stick to their app which they have improved

Question
Cycle times are pre-set regardless of pool size. Seems that larger pools would need more time.
Answer

probably true but in practical use I set it to the longest setting and it does an amazing job.

Question
Could this handle an olympic size pool?
Answer

No. This is a residential Robotic Pool Cleaner, engineered to handle a pool up to 50 feet in length. You would likely need 2 Commercial Dolphin Robotic Pool Cleaners to properly maintain an Olympic sized pool-

Question
CanI use it doing the first 30 days of my new pool so I dont have to scrub 2 times a day?
Answer

Depends what the manufacturer or builder suggest. It does a phenomenal job cleaning.

Question
Which model is recommended for quite slippery glass mosaic?

Any model will work fine

Question
My kidney fiberglass pool has a narrow step all around about 4’ from the surface. Will it clean above the step to the surface?
Answer

I would believe so. It cleans all the way to the top edge of my pool. The only reason it stop is that it knows it's half way out of the water. There is a setting to just clean the edge only.

Question
3yr warranty?
Answer

Yes and I purchased the extended so I have a 5 year

Question
Is there a restocking fee to return it? There is a review that says 50% restocking fee but Amazon prime says free returns. Who to believe?
Answer

If you complain enough to Amazon they will let you return it without a fee. I did this because the machine was completely useless.

Question
Do you leave this in the pool for extended periods, or do you put it in, clean the pool, then take it out?
Answer

I leave mine in and connected and it runs every morning b4 I wake i clean the filters every other day. The control box is inside a weatherproof container to protect it from sun damage and water infiltration and the elements. It has been in and programmed to run daily and has been for months.

Question
What makes it wifi compatible, the power supply unit?
Answer

I suspect you are correct. The power pack and the unit once connected allow your phone via wifi to "talk" to the unit so to speak. The app allows you to set the schedule and "drive" the unit. It's a bit tricky but that's the fun. I hope I answered your quewtion. But for more detail I would suggest you go to the maker's web page.

Question
Do you have to leave your cover off to run this? I have an automatic cover
Answer

90% of the power cord floats on top of the water and follows the robot around. Also the robot does breach the water line when scrubbing the sides of the pool. I’m not exactly sure how your cover works. If your cover floats on the water, then it would likely be a problem. If your cover is suspended a few inches above the waterline, it may work fine. I do not have a cover on my pool, so never tested.

Question
So, if I want it to clean the pool while I am away for a week, do I just leave it in the water or does it get in the water by itself?
Answer

Get in by itself? I wish! You would have to leave it in the pool and program it for the week. Never did that, but should work...given filters don't get to dirty, power doesn't go off, etc.

Question
Since what makes it wifi compatible is its power unit, can i just buy its power supply unit and connect it to my none wifi robot (99996113-US )?
Answer

They tell you not to use any other.

Question
Does this do a deep end pool?
Answer

Yes, the deep end of our pool is 10 feet. Carlton (our Dolphin's given name) gets all over bottom and sides.

Question
que tipo de toma corriente tiene? funcionará al conectarlo aquí en Chile ?
Answer

Recomendado.

Question
Does it replace a pool skimmer for the top of the water?
Answer

No. It does not replace a skimmer. This unit is powered by electric and vacuums the bottom and sides of the pool. Your skimmer will be free to skim.

Question
is this model the same as the f300 series?
Answer

I don't know but I had an older dolphin model and upgraded to this, I love it!

Question
Does the pool need to have a hook up for the robot to connect to?
Answer

All you need is standard 120 volt outlet. The control panel is close by & plugged into the outlet. A 50 ft cord that comes with the robot is connected to the control panel and connected to the Dolphin in the pool. When I want it to run I just drop the Dolphin in the pool and start it with my cell phone via a Wi Fi connection. You can also leave the Dolphin in the pool and program it to run at a specific time each day. Each day I run it I pull it out & clean the filters.

Question
which filter do I need to buy for replacement? Can I get the part number?
Answer

I would first suggest that you look in your owner's manual. If not there look at the the Dolphin site and one or the other ought to be able to help you. I have not yet looked to replace.

Question
Is it compatible for cleaning vinyl pool liners?
Answer

I do not know. Our pool is not vinyl.

Question
is this a reseller? or is this Dolphin direct?
Answer

I think it is a reseller.

Question
We have a 52 x 20 pool, will this model work? how long is the cord? we currently have a dolphin hd with capacity to clean a 65 foot pool.
Answer

Look for the question that starts, “I have a true L”. One of the responders there claims it does fine in their 60x20. At that time, I looked it up in the manufacture website and it lasts a 60’ cord. So I think this depends in the placement of your outlet.

Question
I have zero edje infinty pool, can I use it?
Answer

i don't see why it would be a problem. This cleaner has an option via using the app from your phone to just clean the floor of the pool.

Question
Has anyone actually gotten this unit to connect to the MyDolphin Plus app?
Answer

Yes it’s pretty simple. Download the dolphin app to your phone. Open app and in Settings, connect app to your wifi network.

Question
Does this unit come with a handheld remote and/or can it be controlled via the app to spot clean areas of the pool (manually controlled)?
Answer

It does not come with a remote control but through the app you can manually control the unit to drive it and spot clean. There is about a second lag between control and movement but after a few seconds you can correct for the lag and accomplish manual driving of the unit.

Question
I get a ton a leaves. can i use a leaf bag in this model similar to the premier version? if not, would you recommend the premier version over this?
Answer

Honestly this version as is will work fine. Our 20x40 pool was COVERED in leaves after a recent hurricane and this thing sucked up every single thing in 2 cycles. I never thought we’d see the bottom of the pool again. It has two compartments that suck up leaves so you don’t need a bag (not that it would fit anyway). Best purchase we could have made. Seriously.

Question
Will it climb the walls of an all tile pool?
Answer

Yes, you can tell it either way, it works very good.

Question
I wonder if this cleans the leaves floating on the water surface, yes, I know it cleans the bottom and the walls , It should clean the floating crap?
Answer

No it doesn’t clean the floating leaves. That’s impossible because it can’t float it self and move toward floating leaves. It is used to clean the bottom and side surfaces.

Question
Does this have a lead filter bag?
Answer

No, you have to remove the robot from the pool and do the cleanings manually

Question
How is it with large debris (Leaves & nuts) The basket does not look big. And is this the newest model (the supreme)?
Answer

I would say meh. It will pick up both leafs and nuts( as long as they fit in the slots). But as you noticed, you will be emptying the baskets a lot. I just used it to clean my pool after a few days of wind, and it took about 6 cycles to get all the leaves. I used to have a aquabot t2turbo and the same leaves amount would have taken two cycles. No idea if the model has been updated or not.

Question
Does this have a warranty?
Answer

Yes but I purchased additional warranty for 3 additional years

Question
Mine seems to be leaving quite a bit on the bottom of the pool. I see it drive over leaves and they stay there, it doesnt suck them up? Any fix?
Answer

Your unit comes with two types of filter the fine for smaller debri like dirt the other for larger debri. The fine causes more back pressure so it has less suction. If its having trouble with leaves try the other filter

Question
Our pool has a zero entry wheelchair access ramp. Will the cleaner go up the ramp and leave the pool? Does it have a sensor if it leaves the water ?
Answer

I don't know specifically if it will correctly deal with such a ramp; however, it does detect when it is on the edge of the water/air, so it will not completely leave the water. It detects this when the carry arm drops due to gravity instead of floating in the water. If somehow that mechanism does not work with the ramp, then it could get confused. It is also possible that it may fall off the ramp. This might take a trial run to know for sure.

Question
What is the minimum depth that the robot will operate correctly?
Answer

You will find this information in the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme Quick Start Guide. The minimum depth requirement is 1.33 ft. (the maximum is 16.4 ft!)

Question
Is it ok in salt water pools?
Answer

I’m using it in my 33,000 gallon salt water pool and it’s really fantastic

Question
I lose my wi-fi app connection frequently, would my robot still follow the scheduled cleanings cycles even after i lose my wi-fi connection?
Answer

I carry my cellphone with me inside my house and outside by the pool and have always been connected to my wifi. Your issue may be related to where or the distance your wifi is located in relation to your pool location. You may want to contact your carrier (ie Comcast) for suggestions.

Question
Can this be steered manually (by the app, not by pulling the cord) so I can clean specific spots?
Answer

Yes it can through the app, but it definitely isn't an immediate response when hitting a direction, so it would take some getting used to. It does have different cleaning modes, one of which focuses on the floor only. It's a great little robot, and it does an amazing job. Happy to have it.

Question
Will this unit clean steps and the sun deck?
Answer

The dolphin climbs only one step in the pool. It doesn’t clean the deck. The unit is design for water use only. You can’t get it to clean out of the water.

Question

Question
I have a true L, 45/25, 20/25. It says up to 50', will this not work for my pool then?
Answer

This probably mostly depends on where your power outlet is located. The manufacture website states the cord length is 60 ft. So if you look at length between outlet and pool then determine can the cord reach the furthest points with the remaining about of cord.

Question
Why is this model not on the Dolphin website? I'd like to see the product manual.
Answer

I have the same question. It does have three brushes and does an excellent job.

Question
does this include free return?
Answer

Does it return to the same place , no

Question
Do you need to shut off the pool filter system while this is in the pool ? Or can both be run together?
Answer

I see no reason that would prevent you from running the pool filter system and the Dolphin Cleaner at the same time. FYI you should not have any other pool cleaner sweep in the pool when the Dolphin cleaner is going to run.

Question
can it also be used for above ground pools
Answer

No only in ground pools.

Question
Does this model have a beach entry sensor?
Answer

I don't believe so. It does attempt to clean that area and sometimes gets stuck because the water is too shallow.

Question
Will this work with 220v ?
Answer

No. It works with a standard 110 volt plug in. Same as your vacuum cleaner if you will.

Question
sometimes i seem to have difficulty connecting to the robot when I am not home, what could be the problem?
Answer

It might not be your wifi. I had the same problem and even when it was a few feet from my access point it still wouldn't connect. Maybe some are defective but tech support would never acknowledge that and replace it, so I returned it. Too bad, the robot worked well but the app/connectivity killed it.

Question
How does this compare to the Dolphin Sigma? Is this considered the more advanced model currently?
Answer

The Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme is the newest, most advanced Dolphin Residential Robotic Pool Cleaner available online with Wifi operating capabilities and the ultimate three scrubbing brushes- Sigma was an older model, updated-- but may now be obsolete, as we don't see it available from a Dolphin Dealer any longer

Answer

Through the manufacturer, Dolphin

Question
how much water per hour will it filter
Answer

This model has 4 cleaning modes with 3 different timed cycles. The cycles are 1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 hours long. The cleaning modes to choose from are: Regular, Floor Only, Ultra Clean, or Water Line. This robot is for cleaning pool surfaces: walls, floor, etc, not for filtering water.

The video says it has “Smart Navigation”. What exactly is that?

Not sure exactly, however this robot is excellent. My pool is a natural pond shape, 50x16ish. I simple learns where to go without you doing anything.

Question
Will this work well with vinyl and salt water pools?
Answer

It works great in a salt water pool

Question
Thanks for the answer regarding the warranty pool zoom. Can you post their warranty for online only models for us all to read please.
Answer

If you purchased from Amazon, chances are you engaged an actual pool supply store that sells on Amazon. If they are an authorized Maytronics internet reseller, the standard warranty applies. To leverage your purchase, my advice would be to make the sale and pay using a credit card that still extends the warranty period...in other words, my standard warranty is 3 years, but by using a cc with extended warranty coverage, my coverage is now 5 years. As a side-note, I had an issue with my Dolphin not connecting, tech support was very responsive, and gave me the option of sending it in for repair...and sent me a pre-paid UPS label! Not sure if that is standard practice, but it sure made me a customer.

Question
What type of caddy is required for this cleaner?
Answer

We have not needed a caddy yet. It is not that heavy. However we’ve only had it a month and we may change our minds. It will be more of a pain to move it during the summer when the pool is used a lot.

Question
can you use just bluetooth and not the wifi?
Answer

I'm not sure my is connected to wifi, sorry I cant assist you further. I wouldnt are why not.

Question
Is this the M600 model?
Answer

No, the Nautilus CC Supreme is probably closer mechanically to the M500. If I'm not mistaken, the CC Supreme is online only, the "M" series are sold by dealers, in store. Both have 3 brushes, and are minus the graduated track on the M600. The M600 also has a single basket filter, where the CC Supreme and M500 have a dual filter cartridge. The additional "features" do make the CC Supreme similar to the M600 (multiple cleaning modes, remote control, wifi, etc). I own the CC Supreme, and the cleaning is superb. The only drawback to each model is the flaky wifi connection, and having to clean the filters more often.

Question
how do you connect to wifi ? I've been at it all day
Answer

Actually I think there is something wrong with the app in the last 24 hours... I've had mine connected for almost a year and the last 18 hours it won't connect to the cloud

Question

Answer

About L16" x W16" x H10" Fairly heavy to lift out of water when done. When full of pool water ~ 50 lbs.

Question
Does it pick up leaves? I only have them at start of season or after a storm.
Answer

Yes! There are two filters. I live in Florida so I have a lot of sand in my pool. Their Smaller gauged filter picks up all the sand! I don’t have huge leaves for it to pick up but I have never had a problem with it. I love this pool vacuum

Question
Can the power supply get wet?
Answer

Dolphin Power Supply's are connected to your Robotic Pool cleaner by a 60 foot cable, and are positioned about 12' away from the edge of the pool, and they are water resistant. However, they should not be in standing water nor left out unprotected in a deluge.

Question

yes pool zoom is on the manufacturer website as an authorized retailer

Question
can this be used on inground gunite pools that are pebble tech surface ?
Answer

We have a pebble tech type surface on our in ground pool and this cleaner works really well including steps. What I don’t know yet is how long the brushes will last on what would seem as a rougher surface than slick plaster. In terms of functionality though it works great, specially with the fine filter set up to pick up fine dirt and wall scrubbing capability.

Question
My pool is 75 feet by 10 feet. if i plug it in at the half way point of the pool. roughly at 37.5 feet. will it clean the entire pool?
Answer

The cable length from the electric outlet control box to the sweep is approximately 120 feet long. So you should not have any problem.

Question
How does the remote command system work? When we are away from home many days, can the robot be left in the water or out of the water?
Answer

The robot can be left in the pool water. However, the sweep filters need to be cleaned. How often depends on the dust/debri it picks up. I clean my sweep filters after each day that I run the sweep.

Question
I want the best. Is this the best
Answer

I have a 22x40 pool(liner) and had an older model dolphin for 8 years. It would get stuck on bottom drain all the time. This model has not yet given me any issues, no getting stuck and I can start it from my kitchen, on my phone. If you don't mind pulling it out of water, I would highly recommend this Dolphin!

Question
Does this come with a storage cart?
Answer

No this model does not

Question
What is used for the power source?
Answer

The unit comes with a power source that runs off normal house current (120 V AC) and converts it to a low voltage DC current that powers the robot. Works just fine! I leave mine in the pool all the time and just unplug from AC before swimming.

Question
Does it come with remote control
Answer

Mine did not, I use the Dolphin app with my iPhone, and it's available for Android. There are quite a few options, including manual drive. The Dolphin Premier "learns" your pool each time it runs. Options on the app are clean cycles, schedule, manual, setup, cycle time, and voice control

Question
How good is the remote control? I would like to spot clean by directing the robot sometimes. Is it any good? what's your experience?
Answer

There is no real remote. You use a smartphone to connect. I believe you can’t specifically direct the robot to specific spots, it’s just another bonus function. We haven’t connected ours to wifi yet

Question
Can this be used with vinyl pool liners?
Answer

Yes! Have had the supreme for a week and it has done an excellent job in my in ground vinyl pool.

Question
With the nautilus cc supreme, does the phone app show you the areas of the pool that the robot has cleaned thus far that day?
Answer

No it doesn’t but you have to remove the dolphin and clean out the filters. Once you so that you can see how well the dolphin does. The only thing is when there is a lot of leaves and dirt the dolphin filters need to be cleaned after about two hours and put back in the pool. You can pause the dolphin on your phone.

Question
How wide is the actual robot? If it is not at least 17 inches wide, it will get trapped in between some pool columns.
Answer

The lifting handle is 18” wide at its widest spot. The vacuum unit itself is 16” wide. Hope this helps you!

Capable to get in and out of the pool by itself?

The Mfg. Is continually up dating the electronics. I have sent mine in twice. Make sure you get return goods authorization with freight paid; as it cost $100 for shipping.

Question

Question
Does this unit come with the power supply? As pictured?
Answer

Yes, it comes with a power supply and 2 sets of filters

Question
Does it get "stuck" on bottom drain?
Answer

No. The third cleaning brush on the bottom allows this robot to move right over bottom drains. Our robot has yet to get stuck at any spot in our pool. It does not do well on steps, likely because they are too small, and it will not clean our tanning ledge. The tanning ledge is only about 8 inches deep, so I believe it is too shallow, because this robot does clean well on the swimout benches in deeper water that are 18-24 inches below the surface. Great robot.

Question
Since you can't swim with it in the water, and have to place/pull it from the pool manually, what's the purpose of a "Advanced Weekly Scheduler?"
Answer

You need to pull it from the water to clean the filters. I start it manually whenever I want it to work and put it back in the pool. I don't swim in the pool with the cleaner in the pool with its cord. The sweep is not able to climb out of my pool (vertical wall) by itself. Essentially I have a set time for it to run, however I don't have set day(s) to run ( I base the day based on weather and how the pool looks at the time.

Question
Is there an Ultra-Fine Filter that fits this particular machine?
Answer

Yes, I believe it is Maytronics Part Number 9991432-R4. I planned on buying it for mine, but the stock filter worked so well that I never got around to it.

Question
I spoke to maytronics and they said that this model comes with a caddy, is this true?

How does it compare to sigma with its smart nav 3.0? i can't decide between the nautilus cc supreme or simga.
Answer

Wow, I don't know as this is the first I've heard of the Sigma. I've been looking forward to a smarter pool cleaner (gyroscopic feedback, etc.). I love my Dolphin CC Supreme, but I'm sure I'll go with the smarter model when he retires. Good luck!

Question
Can you use the large leaf bag filter to this model?
Answer

No it has 2 types of included filters one for larger debris and one for finer like sand

Question
What makes this cleaner better than the rest?
Answer

I love it over the vaccume style because it has so far had no trouble the vaccume style gets jammed up all the time plus uses way more electricty and cleaning. Since this unit we clean the robot every 2 to 3 days quick and simpke and checked the main filters on pool after a month still clean since the robot has been working so less electricty wasted better cleaning too

Question
What type of filters does this come with? Does it have more options than what is included?
Answer

It comes with two different filters

Question
What do you use to lift it out of the water?
Answer

I use a walking cane that has a handle on the end. You can put the cane handle under the handle of the pool cleaner and pick the cleaner up out of the water.

Question
Has anyone had a problem with the hose from the robot fitting to the connecting piece on the power source? Mine doesn’t seem to fit/connect.
Answer

You need to make sure that you are lining up the connecting piece correctly.

Question
Our pool builds up a very fine silt that makes a cloud in the water when brushed. Will this unit filter that out as it vacuums?
Answer

Yes. I know the problem you're referencing. The robot comes with two sets of filters. Use the fine filter (rippled) to get rid of this silt. It works very well. However, note that I have found that the cell phone remote app doesn't work very well (I have an Android phone). My daughter has the cheaper version of this robot without remote control over an app. If that comes with the two filters, I would recommend that version of the robot. Without a working app you have absolutely no control over the settings with the more expensive version.

Question

Answer

Se puede usar con ambos voltajes.

Question
Does it work with a 2.4Ghz wifi router?
Answer

The robot is controlled by an app on your phone

Question
Can the cleaner be continuously left in a pool? if not, then how to use its wifi scheduler? my old premier was instructed not being left in a pool.
Answer

I occasionally leave mine in the pool for a couple of weeks. I think the suggestion to not leave it in the pool is because most pools have a fairly high concentration of chemicals that, prolonged exposure, may not be good for the robot. The wifi scheduler is pretty easy on my iPhone app. The connection is pretty interesting, either wifi, bluetooth, and internet.

Question
How long is the cord on this unit
Answer

The cord from the electrical outlet to the power supply box is about 8 feet. Then the cord from the power supply box to the unit it’s self is extremely long. My pool is 40 feet from end to end and it has no problem covering that area.

Question
Does this really weigh 45 lbs.?
Answer

No, it only weighs about 15 lbs. When it is full of water it may weigh 45 lbs. you pull it up slowly and the water drains out. It is the best and easiest unit I have ever used.

Question
Se puede usar con 220 volt en chile
Answer

Si, y en cualquier otro país también!

Question
Can the cleaner be used with vinyl pool liners?
Answer

Should not be an issue. I have used a different older version of the Dolphin cleaner on a vinyl pool in the past for years without any problem. This is much better and easier to clean than my older model. Strongly recommend the cleaner.

Question
Is there an extension available from the robot to the control box? The first time I used it, it dragged the box into the water going to the far end
Answer

There is no extension cable that I have seen. They do come in 40 and 59 foot lengths. Consider placing the control box more in the middle of the longest length on the pool then use a large gauge extension cord to locate the control box closer. Also to give u peace of mind consider using a deck box and mount the control box inside so u can protect if from the elements and allow u to have the cord plugged into the extension inside to protect from water intrusion at the connection.

Question
I dont see this model on the Maytronics website. Is it a discontinued model?
Answer

No, I bought it because of its 5 star rating.

Question
How to clean filters and replace batteries?
Answer

I literately just drop it in the pool and let it go. Filters are extreme easy to clean. They just slide out and I take apart the clips and hose it out. 10 minutes max. Put it back together and drop it back in. I have a large pool. I don't even know if it has a battery. It stays plugged in. Pull it out when it is done or we are getting ready to swim. It has been a lifesaver.

Question
How many square feet does it clean? How long to recharge its batteries?
Answer

My pool is 50ft long, maybe 25,000 gallons, 2 hours 45 minutes and the pool is crystal clear. No batteries, plug into 120 outlet and the robotic cord is good for a 50ft pool, WiFi or Bluetooth to you phone. Best money I have ever spent. Really truly happy with Dolphin.

Question
Can i use this for a new pebble tec surface for the first few weeks of cleaning, or do i need to wait until it is fully cured?
Answer

I am unfamiliar with that new surface. It can be used in a concrete pool. For the first cleaning after the seasonal closing, I have found that it is best to use the filter on waste as this bypasses the filter and goes directly out of pool. All major debris, sticks, leaves, etc will clog the dolphin or any other cleaner more quickly so waste is the way to go. Watch water level while doing this. Good luck!

Question
can this machine be used without Wi-Fi ? We
Answer

Yes I believe with bluetooth

Question
What type of caddy is required for this cleaner?
Answer

I dont feel a caddy would be useful as we have a deck box that we mounted the control box into and drilled holes to fish the wires thru. When we pull the robot out to have a backyard party we place the robot and cord inside which keeps it out of the sun and out of sight. I feel a caddy would take up space and not look as clean

Question
What is the difference between this model and the Dolphin M600, besides the obvious retail vs internet?
Answer

The big difference is the nautilus supreme has three brushes where the other has 2 the third brush is under in the middle which makes it not get high centered on drain covers and scrubs more.

Question
Is there a restocking fee? If so, how much?
Answer

I don’t know. My unit is great

Question
Can this cleaner have a set no go zone? I have a built in table and chairs that could be a nightmare
Answer

You can specify floors only or floors and walls, I would not think the chairs and table work be a priority with the floor only.

Question
which Dolphin is best to pick up leaves and pollen?
Answer

I have the Dolphin Nautilus CC Supreme and it does an amazing job picking up everything. leaves trash fine sand, it gets it all. Highly recommend this product.

Question
We have a fiberglass Thursday pool with a safety ledge in the deep end. Will this climb over that and get to the water line or will it work it stop?
Answer

I have a gunnite pool with a safety ledge in the deep end, I see my Dolphin climb the ledge, but doesn’t sit on top of it cleaning.... I simple use a scrub brush and brush the ledge when I’m in the pool, same thing applies to our tanning ledge, it climbs the wall of the ledge but doesn’t go on the ledge to scrub it...

Question
I have a solar pool "blanket" that is on the pool all summer long all day long. Will that interfere with the operation of this cleaner?
Answer

No it shouldn't the cord floats and the unit does circulate the water so there's a chance ur solar cover may shift but if ur pool isn't to large like mine the cord is long enough that it would just float under ur solar cover and do its business. When it climbs the walls to scrub near the surface it should lift the solar cover but if ur cover is loose to the edges then a chance it could get tangles with the front brush. The only way to know for sure is to try it for yourself if it causes to much interference use Amazon's return policy and return it within 30 days. The cleaner itself is fantastic i recomend it to everyone over suction style cleaners i will never go back to one and am planning to replumb the vaccume port as another return.

Question
What is the return policy on this cleaner? I have 3 problem areas on the pool, and if it 0/3 I probably don't want it. 1/3 possibly keep 2/3 probably
Answer

amazon has a 30 day return policy

Question
Would this work with an above ground pool? And if not, what model is recommended for above ground pools?
Answer

Not sure. I think it would be an overkill for an above ground pool.

Question
I have no wifi at my farm. Does the robot works with no internet?
Answer

It will work but you need to download Maytronics app to your mobile phone.....go to an Internet cafe or use phone data. Occasional firmware or software updates. The robot is wonderful and works off Bluetooth. Does a great job. Maytronics people are easy to work with and warranty response is GREAT

Question
Have an electricity outlet about 30 feet from pool. Would it work at that distance? Pool itself about same lenght
Answer

No use a extension cord

Question
Is the dolphin nautilus cc supreme automatic robotic pool cleaner suitable for vinly lined pools?
Answer

I have a fiberglass pool and it works great with that

Question
Do you have to connect to wi-if and or app for it to run?
Answer

That's the way the instructions direct you to start it up. There are no control buttons on the control box so I don't know how to operate it without the app. BUT the next model down is not wifi, I think the CC plus? So that may work for you.

Question
does this model map your pool?
Answer

it says it is supposed to but it hasnt gotten my pool clean yet!!

Question
How well does this work with pools with many (5) tress around it? This is a large amount of leaves, branches, nuts, etc.
Answer

It would work okay, depending on the leaf size. It comes with a more mesh type filter for getting big things, but the capacity of it isn’t great and you would have to clean it out a bunch to clean your pool. You would save some time just using a skimmer to get the easy stuff first, and then using it to get the rest. I miss the old bag filter type that I used to use. The capacity was much higher than the filter plates of this machine.

Question
The swivel is tight and does not swivel by its self ,what can I do .I have it for a week
Answer

If you are referring to the cord connection to the cleaner it works just fine. The cleaner makes all types of turns/climbs and I have not had any cable issues. I initially laid the cable out before hooking it up to the control box to remove some twisting. Since the cable primarily floats on top of the water I have had no problems.

Question
Is the remote function worth the extra cost?
Answer

I would say that depends on your Wi-Fi connection. My pool is too far away from my home for it to work, but I would find it very convenient if I could have had it. It also depends on how motivated you are to get out and go out to the equipment and restart it. This is truly the best pool cleaner I have ever owned.

Question
Does this cleaner have valet mode that brings it to the waters edge?
Answer

No it does not. You can retrieve it from the water by pulling it out via the cord. It is very easy to move using the cord.

Question
What's the big difference between this model than the Sigma?
Answer

I would recommend you compare the two descriptions.

Question
Caddy - some here said caddy comes with it, some said otherwise. If it didn’t come with it, where did you buy the caddy from?
Answer

Caddie did not come with it. I don't have a caddie but you can buy it from the company that sells the cleaner.

Question
What is the difference between this unit and the M400?
Answer

I don’t know I ordered this unit and it sunk to the bottom and died. I sent it back .

Question
Does this cleaner replace the need for a pump?
Answer

I still need my pump because I have a saltwater pool and need the pump to circulate the water through the salt reactor. I have a canister style filter which I used to have to clean every 2 weeks during monsoons but since getting the dolphin in January i checked the filters in February they were barely dirty cleaned them in April just because and so since january have washed them once and planning on checking at end of month but during monsoon season will check more often. Besides the extra water filtrating and circulation unless u have a fountain I guess u could get away without a pump if u really wanted to but if u already have one I would suggest looking into a DC solar water pump setup which is what I'm going to replace next, yes it is between 1500 to 2200 depending on how big a pool u have but the electricity cost will pay for itself within 2 years depending on use and in az it will run alot so i see a major benefit between a solar pump and the dolphin cleaner i have never been happier about the lack of scrubbing just every couple days pull the 2 filters from the dolphin and spray out w a hose and replace i could probably go a week but I don't want to stress the unit by letting the filters fill so it will last longer.

Question
How do we do a warranty exchange or repair please as the unit quit at about 12 months?
Answer

Please contact the Maytronics Customer Care team at 888-365-7446 for troubleshooting and warranty repair servicing.

Question
Can the dolphin nautilus cc supreme wifi operated robotic pool [vacuum] be used on a pebble tec pool bottom surface?
Answer

I don't see why not.

Question
Is it possible to make a no go zone?
Answer

No. It doesn't make a map of the pool in the app like a more advanced Roomba would.

Question
I have the nautilus cc supreme, but can''t seem to find cartridge filters for it. is there a link someone could send for me to find them?
Answer

Look in your paperwork for contact info

Question
Which power supply type: a b c d or e?
Answer

110v

Question
Once it is at the waterline, does it travel sideways while cleaning the waterline?
Answer

Sideways at a slight angle. I have not watched it long enough to verify it gets the whole perimeter of the pool, but what I have seen looks good to me.

Question
I noticed, not a word in the ad about it's warranty - wonder why that is?
Answer

You cannot return this item once the box is opened. For the warranty the seller will tell you that it's with the manufacturer. This robot DOES not climb walls as advertised.

Question
Is this for above ground or in ground pools?
Answer

In ground

Question
Does it get stuck on the main drains?
Answer

First run around the pool, it stopped when running into the bottom drain intake. But, it's like it learned the pool and goes over it now. Once and a while it hesitates but continues going. I love it. I take the unit out after each use and clean the filters. I recommend keeping the filter frame and filters out of the sun. The plastic filter holders seem weak and sun could make them bridal

Question
Is the Dolphin pool cleaner compatible with in-ground liner pools?
Answer

No I don’t think so.

Question
How does this compare to m600? where can i buy m600?
Answer

Not sure.
