Not sure…I believe they have a US facility in California but not exactly sure if it’s manufactured off shore or in the U.S.. I will say that this is the second one I’ve owned and it works great! In addition, their customer service reps have been very responsive if I’ve had questions.

No. You need a vacuum with a hose to connect to your pool pump. Set pump to vacuum to waste. I tried it and this vacuum just pushed the algae around. It is, however, very good for vacuuming leaves, pet hair, and debris.

It’s strange to see the mixed reviews because we love ours, I wonder if there are possibly multiple manufacturing lines and one produces substandard product? We have a vinyl lined 18’ above ground pool and I love this thing. Picks up small leaves and all the bugs. Works great

I get it to the top of the water and then pull it out fast and let it drain on the ground. The flapper closes and I have not experienced any dirt coming out but maybe it just doesn't have time.

Well its a little tricky on mine because it's oval. We had to change the wheels to a do the oval pattern. The wheels are defaulted to a round pool. There is still one corner that it doesn't like to clean. It get it about every 3rd cleaning. I'm still pretty happy with it cause it keeps us from having to get in and clean it

This is one of the reasons I’m returning this item. It just blows out dirty water through the flap and makes the pool water cloudy. It does pick up some debris, but any fine dirt it just stirs it up and blows it through.

Overall, it does pick up fine particles, at times pine needles and larger items are left. QTOMOP is a better vacuum, but harder to lift out of pool.

The first few times I used it I left it in for a couple hours hoping it would restart. But no luck. I had to retrieve it after every charge with the hook and pluck it back up again. I essentially got in the habit of dropping it in after I got home from work every couple days so it would be clean for the evenings or weekends. Easier than getting the hose out, but not near as good as I had hoped.

No there is not. You just need to let it dry completely before charging again. I leave mine drying a full day.

Make sure you turn it on before you put it in the water. You should hear a low beep. Once it hits the water, it shoots the air out and sinks. If you press the button and do not hear the beep, there may be an issue or the battery isn't charging.

Since I've had the AIPER Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner, I've not had issues with algae. But it cleans my pool floor of any sand and debri off the botton.

It is cleaning along the edges… If you got a very large Pool it might run out of time bevor all of it done.

Make sure nothing is blocking the two top flaps. Air comes out each flap to push it each way. But if the handle is over a flap or if something is stuck or blocking the flap it won't push off and blow air out to move it to the next direction.

Hello . Yes, I just used a pole that I had for my skimmer. The pole you use to removes leaves and such out of the pool. I had a spare pole, but you can purchase a pole at any Walmart.. pool places. Just the pile part..if a net skimmer. It fit perfectly. ☺️

If your steps are removable then yes, you can just take them out. If your steps are built into your pool then no, it will NOT climb or vacuum the stairs. It will only *kind of* work on the flat bottom.

One my bottom scrapers broke less than a month after having it and they shipped me a whole se unit within two days. I just contacted Amazon. They were really helpful about it.

Try cleaning the unit with a garden hose. Recharge unit and try it again. If the problem continues I would send it back.

Yes. My pool is a 12x18 foot above ground pool with a vinyl liner. As long as you pool is a flat bottom will work great. I love how easy to clean and how fast it completely cleans my pool. If your pool has a deep end and a shallow end may not be able to go up the incline.

That sounds like a defective unit. When charged I push the button once. It starts to beep to signal its not in water then I let it go.

I have some wrinkles in the bottom of my pool maybe 1/2' high at most and it skips right over them. If the chlorine tablets sit on the bottom and not in a hole I would think it would not work.

ABsolutely.. and it works great.. we have a bestway, Oval.. same as intex... it does get stuck on wrinkles occasionally, but we stay in the pool while it's working so if it does get stuck we can give it a gentle nudge

I leave mine on the charger with no issues. It has an indicator light, red to green, so you know when it is fully charged.

It will go anywhere it fits, however won't go up the stairs. It's kind of like a robot vaccum for your carpet, but it is for the bottom of your pool.

I just got it and have not had to store for the winter yet. You can download the user manual. It has 2 statements regarding storage. See below 18. If the cleaner needs to be stored for a long period of time, it should be charged every three months to maintain battery life between 40%-60%. If the cleaner is not charged for a long time, the battery voltage will be lower than the overdischarge protection voltage due to the self-discharge of the battery, which may cause fatal damage. 20. The unit runs until the battery dies. It will stop in the pool. There is normally a single beep which beeps even after the battery dies. The beep means the unit is on.

I ordered this during Amazon prime days last week, and have now received 2 texts, not emails, supposedly from amazon prime, saying about suspicious transaction and they deactivated my acct. Received confirmation right after placing the order, yet tracking still shows it hasn't shipped yet, but shows arriving by July 22nd.

If its the flaps on top I think it would, but not positive. Those open when the water is coming out to push it through the water. I dont know if the closing of the flap affects how it works. It seems like they are just loose when not in use.

mine definately does not run for the stated time.... maybe 30 if im lucky... its not really good for my oval above ground pool... it moves around and such just leaves most everything behind or the smallest twig blocks the suction

You would attach "The Hook" to a larger Skimmer Stick where the Basket attaches. The "Stick" is not provided.

I thought mine didn't turn on either. You have to press the red button on the bottom on put it right in the water.

It depends on how bad the bumps & divets are. We have an above ground as well and it works pretty well. The charge only last like 30 minutes then you need to charge it for a few hours. I feel it was a bit expensive for the results. But you don’t have to spend the time cleaning and can do something else. I hope this helps.

Hello Tony C. I'm sorry to tell you that Seagull 600 can not clean the walls cause of its design. But we have other seagull series like Seagull 1500, Seagull 3000, they can totally climb the wall and clean the waterline.

Mine does the same thing. Did you figure out what was wrong. Mine is charged and placed in the pool. It will go and sit for a few minutes the flaps opening from one side and the next but no movement from the product. Sometimes it goes and other times I need to grab the hook to try to get it out and then it goes. Ideas?

Yes, it has done a pretty good job on the dirt. If the dirt is smaller than the screen it may let it through, but so far I’m impressed with what it picks up.

The hook insert is probably metric but is close to 1 1/8". I use mine on a 1 1/4" diameter pole and it fits loose works fine.

I use my machine everyday. When it’s done cleaning I empty the debris, wash it out and charge it. When it’s fully charged I UNPLUG it and it’s all set for tomorrow’s cleaning.

You know I suspect that as well, though I'm not quite sure if that's the case. I have noticed that at first the pool looks clean and before you know it all the dirt is back, so I don't know if the dirt is just being moved and then settling back down.

This happened to me too. What I figured out was that you really have to make sure it's turned on. I would push the button and let it go and nothing. It's a little awkward turning it on under water. I hold on to it, under water, to make sure the water is being sucked in. Good luck!

Hello Jessi, You can easily lift it out with the included hook retriever without getting yourself wet, cause Aiper Robotic Cleaner stops near the pool wall when the battery is too low or after completing a working cycle, please refer to the following video.

It comes with a single power cord with a specific port charger to the vacuum. You do need a pole to attach the hook enclosed to remove robot from pool. It’s universal to basic pool cleaning net poles. Everything else is included.

It’s actually meant for round pools so yes. It goes in lines back and forth all over and eventually cleans the whole pool, the manual we got shows the pattern and included time estimates (our 18’ round takes about 50 minutes)

Hello Evan, Please note that the optimal water temperature for our machine to work is 41F to 95F, if worked at 35F, the battery duration may be affected.

I don't have to push mine. It does pause at times, as if thinking but then keeps going. I notice it happens closer to when the battery starts giving out as it only runs for 50 mins.

I have a 1600 gallons above ground swimming pool and the vacuum works wonderfully. I’m really impressed with the power this little vacuum has.

I have used my Aiper Pool Cleaner twice. My above ground pool dose not have a smooth bottom thus making the robot not always move smoothly. However, within the 50 min of it's cleaning, it's doing the job. I think it's something that gets better with time as the bottom of the pool gets flatter. In any case the pool cleaner works in it's 50 min intervals. You can't expect the machine to do a full cleaning from Winter but over time it will clean up nicely.

What type of pool do you have? Is it fully charged? I have an intex above ground and while I do agree, the directions were alittle confusing but once It was put together, charged and dropped into the pool, it worked very well.

I suppose it could, but having had more than my share of algae issues, I wouldn't recommend this for algae. Once you kill off you algae, you really want to vacuum with a hose directly to waste (i.e., out of the pool water or filter) to minimize the possibility of recurrence. This vacuum will pick up & trap gravel, small leaves, tree pollen (threads) etc., but because the water continues to flow through the vacuum directly back into the pool, you likely risk ongoing infestation. Good luck!

It comes with it's charger,looks kinda like a phone charger. You plug in to wall and the other ends goes to the vacuum. Takes awhile to charge and works for about 45 min. The light on charger will be red and when fully charged goes green. Hope this helps.

In regards to question it’s really good at getting out of tight spots. It doesn’t get stuck. I have stairs and it stops and corrects goes the other direction. It’s really a great little vacuum

No. You just turn it on and hold it under the water for a minute then just drop it. It falls to the bottom then takes off cleaning. When the battery is dead it just stops. You take it out with the hook that comes with it. Open it up, hose it out then put it back on the charger.

As long as I break it up kind of preemptively it will do that yes. If you have a little on the bottom and side walls it does get it. I Always just do a little brush real quick and then run the vac and it is pretty well

I'm sorry my AIRER Robotic cleaner moves fine. Its the greatest tool ever I can walk the dogs and vacuum my pool at the same time. I said it doesn't pick up sand it moves fine and picks everything else up. I love the the Vacuum.

It does climb out of the deep end and climbs the shows part of the wall, but not vertical.

According to the warranty if a problem occurs the drive unit is replaced as a unit. That said the drive unit is mounted and put together with screws and who knows what else. It will most likely come apart and the battery is probably replaceable, (you may have to do soldering). I don't know if you open the drive unit if you would ever be able to get it resealed.

It takes about six hours to fully charge, I have a 14 foot pool and it takes about 30 minutes to completely vacuum the pool and the charge lasts for about two hours. It vacuums really well in a short time.

Mine came with screws. Go thru your box...they were in a small bag.

I had to move mine to a different area with the hook. Mine was getting stuck in places where the sand had created small low spots, as well as some spots on the sides.

Probably but I’d recommend a “clarifier” for that kind of thing. Your clarifier should grab hold of any and all biofilm and bubble it up to the surface for your skimmer to clean out. Clarifiers take tiny particles of skin, oil, etc and bind to them so they can be cleaned out.

I'm not sure what you are talking about "beeps". The only time my unit makes the beeps is when I take it out of the pool. At that point I shut the unit off & blow into the electrical connection in order to fully dry it. My unit charges for about 4 hours and lasts the full 50 minutes of run time. The only thing I can say is to make sure that the unit is off before charging, and to make sure both male and female connectors are in good shape.

I sure would hope so. You have ur receipt through Amazon on the purchase date so I don’t see why it wouldn’t be covered. I haven’t had to use it so far on this purchase but have on other things and there was no problems.

I have a 20 ft round and it cleans it in about 15 minutes so yes I think with a 55 minute run time it should be no problem.

There is a light on the plug. Its red when not charged and green when charged.

There are little prongs you plug into on the bottom. When you open to clean remember to align the arrows and pins together or it won’t shut.

Unlikely. The unit design for underwater use precludes an owner battery swap. I also sweep 2x daily, usually late morning and night, seems right for my 16' diam pool with lots of overhead trees. I'd strongly suggest it's cheaper and safer to just buy a 2nd unit.

Ours stops at first, but then starts going. We have a round pool. Not sure if that matters. Ours has worked great! Super impressed because we have sand around our pool.

Not sure what an easy set pool is. I am using mine in a galvanized trough. It works great for that.

I noticed on my upgraded version it ran a little longer, they added a scraping (soft) tool and it picks up even smaller debris. I live by the coast so it helps with sand pick up.

Same reason you can buy a good couch for a few hundred or a few thousand. Who knows? I got this in early July and use it almost daily and it has worked great so far.

Mine works great. Is your robot at least shooting the water jets out? If so could the wheels be jammed. If it isn't shooting water out of the jet ports it is broken and you need to send it back

I am not certain it wouldn’t depending on the slope. when it gets to the wall it seems to not want to stop and even leans up like it’s going to go up the wall but then stops . It moves quite fast and does last a good hour .

Item Dimensions LxWxH 14.3 x 15.1 x 7.5 inches SO THE HEIGHT IS 7.5 INCHES! It has to be covered above that in order to work. My above ground pool is 15' x 52" it works amazing. I also cover the connection for the charger with a small piece of duct tape, to preserve!

Yes it’s actually made for round shaped pools optimally. It hits the wall turns and goes till it hits the wall again and on and on till it’s completed the pattern. My manual actually showed a diagram of the pattern for reference
