Wybot C1 Pro Robotic Pool Cleaner
Key Features
- Always Charging. Never Cleaning. - One of the major drawbacks we noticed during our testing is the frequent need for recharging. Unlike corded models that can run continuously, the Wybot C1 Pro requires several hours of charging after each cleaning cycle before it can be used again, which limits its efficiency for back-to-back cleaning sessions.
- No NanoFiltration - A feature we appreciate in other models is the inclusion of NanoFilters, which capture more fine particles like algae and small debris. Unfortunately, the Wybot C1 Pro does not come with these filters or any additional filtration options, reducing its ability to thoroughly clean the pool.
- Weaker Motors - Compared to ProLine motors, the Wybot C1 Pro's motors are less powerful, resulting in underwhelming cleaning performance. While it does have triple-motor power, it still struggles to match the cleaning efficiency of higher-end models.
- Disappointing App - The app associated with the Wybot C1 Pro falls short in terms of user experience and connectivity. Users have reported that the app could be better designed and more reliable, particularly when compared to other pool robots that offer robust Wi-Fi connectivity and more intuitive interfaces. And you can only control the Wybot C1 Pro out of water, which defeats the purpose of an app.
- Poor Navigational Performance - The Wybot C1 Pro had difficulty navigating around obstacles such as ladders in our pool. Despite being equipped with advanced sensors and gyroscopes, its path planning was not as effective as expected, leading to missed areas and an overall less thorough cleaning.
- Inadequate Support and Warranty - Some users have reported challenges with customer service and warranty support. Although the product comes with a 30-day return period and a 2-year warranty, the support experience has been less than satisfactory for some customers, which can be problematic if the device encounters issues.
